An Essential Tour!
This is a very unique tour! I so appreciated the opportunity to participate in a small tour and hear first hand from our guide his stories and recollections of the siege- in particular his harrowing accounts of his time in the tunnel and how he and his family endured years of deprivation and danger. It was a mind expanding and heart breaking experience and an absolutely necessary one for anyone really wanting to experience Sarajevo.

Amazing Sites and A Very Full Day!
This tour covers a lot of ground! Lamija, our guide, was kind, eager to please and inform her guests, and adept at managing a large group. She did an excellent job caroling us all from one site to the next. I did wish the tour could have been adjusted to allow us more time to explore Mostar and visit the Koski-Mehmed Pasha Mosque. I didn't consider the stop at Konjic Bridge to be worthy of the time spent at this destination, for example. And spending another 45 minutes at falls didn't seem necessary as the rain was steady throughout the visit. The option to alter the itinerary given the weather conditions would have been appreciated. My time in Mostar felt way too rushed.

An highly education and inspiring tour
The tour was very educational. Our guide Adnan explained the history of Yugoslavia and the specific history of the Bosnian War with great clarity and humor. As a war veteran, not only he was able to give the hard facts of history, but his own experience of confronting the invasion and fighting for the lives of his family, friends and people. It is definitely a tour you would not want to miss if you are interested about the history of this land.

Sarajevo history in a day
Second part of the tour was interesting as the tour guide lived through the experience of The Siege of Sarajevo leaving us wanting to know more.. However, the first part of the tour was the most informative and interesting tour we have ever had. Nedim was an excellent tour guide and we would've definitely liked to hear more.. He showed such passion and extensive knowledge on the history of Sarajevo which made us more inquisitive and want to come back to Sarajevo to see more.. Hats off to Nedim!

My trip was changed from...
My trip was changed from Sunday to Monday, but I guess it was a blessing in disguise!
We were a small, intimate group, with Kristijan as our driver and tour guide. The information he shared about the country’s history, culture, and natural beauty was truly fascinating. His enthusiasm and passion for his country really shone through, making the experience even more engaging and enjoyable.
Being part of such a small group allowed us to connect, share ideas, and exchange thoughts on a wide range of topics, which made the day even more special.
I believe we all ended the day feeling thoroughly fulfilled by the experience and much more knowledgeable about the country’s history, traditions, culture, and food etc.
Many thanks to Kristijan for such an informative, enjoyable, and memorable experience and the lovely group I was fortunate to have this experience with.
Highly recommended!

Wonderful Sights and Tour!
This tour was a great way to see several incredible sights all in one day. Adnan was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and stories. Even though the day is long, we were surrounded by majestic mountains and sparkling river along the highway almost the entire ride. I only wish we had more time in each location, they were all stunning! It's a beautiful country and I highly recommend this tour.

Eye-opening Tour of the Sarajevo Siege
This is an outstanding and informative tour of the Siege of Sarajevo and larger war in Bosnia. Our guide, Ago, did a great job explaining the complicated war, the atrocities, and less than effective peace. I highly recommend both this tour and the guide, Ago!

Wow! This is THE tour!
We saw SO much on our transfer from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik! This was the ultimate way to get from one city to the other and see a ton of sights. Loved Mostar and all of the other shorter stops. September was a great time for this, because many places were not too crowded. Highly recommend doing the transfer if you want to avoid yet another day at the airport and see quite a lot of the country south of Sarajevo! Plan on a full day of touring.

Great way to get to Belgrade from Sarajevo
Had a great day transfer from Sarajevo to Belgrade.. Stopped along the way at many interesting places. Our tour guide Jasmin was wonderful and along the way we learned a lot about history and geography. I didn't care for the 45 minute train ride..Don't see anything other than trees. Otherwise everything else was great.

The trip was fabulous, a must do while in Sarajevo!
It was so nice visiting these places with Ensar. He was a great guide and an excellent driver. There were only three people in our group which made for a wonderful, personal day. The sights were beautiful and Ensar’s suggestions were excellent. He shared his personal experiences of life in Bosnia and was like spending the day with a friend. I highly recommend Ensar and Dream Balkans Travel.

A Personal Account of the Bosnian War
Probably the best history lesson of our lives. Thanks Adis. A very personal explanation of how normal life became a war and then how the ingenuity and determination of the people succeeded in defending the city until the Dayton Agreement was signed. The stops along the minibus tour included all of the major war sites but they were really enhanced by a veteran explaining the small details associated with them. We’re old enough to remember watching the war on TV news, and Adis pointed out the hotel where the TV reporters stayed. Highly recommended.
