What are people saying about Puerto Iguazu

We booked a private tour...
We booked a private tour for a day trip from Buenos Aires to see both sides of the falls. We arrived a little late due to a weather delay. Perro, a very friendly and humorous local, greeted us as we exited the terminal and promptly brought us to the Brazilian side to meet Rodrigo who would be our personal guide for the rest of the tour. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable about all the local wildlife, culture and history of the Iguazu region and delighted us with his ability to communicate with us in English, German and Spanish. We were very impressed with his detailed explanations of the fauna and his ability to answer all our questions. It was very convenient for us to leave our belongings in his SUV as he brought us to all the viewing areas and was able to get us to the front of lines due his private tour credentials. He also brought us to a beautiful local restaurant where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch. After an incredible time on the Brazil side we were ready to see the Argentina side of the falls. Unfortunately due to very high water conditions the elevated walk ways to the Devils Throat area were closed limiting the viewable parts of the falls from the Argentina side. We also drove through a very interesting community where the where the indigenous people live. A final stop at the juncture of the three countries of the Iguazu Falls was a nice finishing touch and photo opportunity for this tour. I would like to advise those that are planning a day trip from Buenos Aires that it is important to arrive in Puerto Iguazu on schedule if you want to see both sides.

Outstanding private guide for Iguazú Falls
We had an exceptional experience with Nicholas as our private guide for a full day visiting both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazú Falls. Nicholas met us at our hotel precisely at the agreed-upon time, and from that point on, the entire day could not have gone better. We were especially glad we chose to have a private guide because we had only one day to experience both sides of the Falls. Nicholas made the entire day easy, efficient, and very well planned. His knowledge of the area and his recommendations were invaluable. He knew how to navigate the border crossings, how to make the most of our time at the Falls, and, importantly, how to avoid many of the inevitable crowds. His planning allowed us to see and experience so much without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Nicholas was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and clearly committed to making sure we had a great experience. Having him guide us through both Argentina and Brazil made a complicated one-day itinerary remarkably easy. We could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Nicholas to anyone visiting Iguazú Falls.

Highly recommend
We started a little late but that was not the fault of the tour guide. After that the tour was perfect. We started at the Argentina side of the falls, had an excellent walk and plenty of time. It felt like this was just a build up to the incredible falls view on the Brazilian side. Again, flawless transport. We would have been lost knowing where to go, what line to stand in, where to buy tickets. There were only 5 of us so it allowed for us to get to know each other much easier. Watching the huge groups made me appreciate this so much more.

Unforgettable Tour with the perfect guide
Roberto our tour guide was excellent 10+ from the beginning of the day till the end. Very punctual when collecting me from my hotel at 7:05am. Provided extra goodie bag, out of his own pocket to help us enjoy our experience a lot more. Argentina side was excellent with perfect views, he gave clear instructions on how to follow and a group chat in case anyone got lost. Personally sorted me out with the boat tour, when nobody else wanted too go, hugely grateful for that. Brazilian side was perfect too and then took us all home whilst soaked. Incredible experience and will highly recommend doing this tour with Roberto.

Experience legendary cascades and the best of Argentinean culture with Puerto Iguazu tours. There are several great options for experiencing this UNESCO World Heritage Site—one of the world’s largest waterfalls—such as flying above the jungle canopy on a zipline and experiencing the region’s natural wonders from a truly unique vantage point. There are also tours that let your enjoy traditional Argentine foods like empanadas and wine, or catch a show at a churrascaria steakhouse.
