A small group driver / guide led trip around St John’s. Our leader, Brian is extremely knowledgable and has lots of interesting facts to share. We had about the right time at each stop although for slow walkers it might be difficult to get up to the light house at Cape Spear. We were lucky to see a fisherman bring in his catch.

Absolutely incredible tour. We knew booking that it was the tail end of the season so it was a bit of a gamble but regardless we were mesmerized. The crew was incredible and made us feel so welcome, standing with the guests and explaining the history of the region. We especially want to shout out Glenn, who was incredibly attentive. He took the time to talk to each and every group and answered all of our questions. A perfect example of the Newfoundland hospitality (which is more than you could ever expect). He was aware we were on our honeymoon and went above and beyond to make us feel extra special. We even got screeched in on board! We’ll definitely be coming back during peak season and we cannot recommend this tour enough!

6 of us embarked on this magnificent tour during our recent stay in Newfoundland. We were there celebrating our birthdays as a group of friends and were so pleased that we chose Gatherall's. When there was impending weather in the upcoming forecast they quickly connected with us by phone to ensure we had time to reschedule our trip. We were so pleased that they took this initiative ahead of time for us to be able to comfortably move things around. The hospitality in the shop and on the boat was just exquisite, this family run business truly invites you in to share their love of nature and expertise throughout the experience. From the beautiful songs sung as you exit and enter the harbour, to the many interesting facts of the geography, animal life and factual, yet comical, description of a day in the life of a puffin that were shared during the ride exceeded our expectations. We chose to screech in on the boat and could not be happier with that decision, it was a fun filled process that kept you engaged and laughing throughout.
