An amazing excursion... SO worth it!
The entire trip was like something out of a dream! I had an amazing time. Mahmood (the guide) was great and very "easy on the eyes" if you know what I mean ladies! However, I must warn others... this hike was VERY advanced and does requires some level of physical fitness to complete. Also no matter how great of a swimmer you are, I still recommend the life vest when swimming to the cave. The meal after the excursion was so delicious and you WILL work up an appetite prior to getting to the restaurant. The sinkhole was beautiful also! This trip was so worth it and I am so happy I booked it.

The Highlight of My Visit to Oman
Khalid made what could have been a standard city tour into one of the highlights of my trip.
From the moment we met, he had a calm, welcoming presence that immediately put me at ease. He’s soft-spoken, genuinely kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Muscat, Oman, Islam, and the broader Middle East. No question was off limits. Whether it was history, religion, culture, or current events, he answered thoughtfully and honestly without ever making the conversation feel rushed.
During the tour we visited the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, explored the Mutrah Souq, saw the Al Alam Palace, and even drove into the mountains for a completely different perspective of the city. Along the way, Khalid introduced me to Omani coffee, dates, sweets, and local traditions, making the experience feel authentic rather than scripted.
What stood out most was how personal the day felt. I never felt like I was being rushed from one attraction to the next. Instead, it felt like spending the day with a local friend who genuinely wanted to share his country, his culture, and a glimpse into his own life. I felt completely safe the entire time, found myself laughing throughout the day, and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Oman and its people.
If you’re considering a tour in Muscat, don’t hesitate. Khalid is not only an outstanding guide, he’s a genuinely good person. I hope our paths cross again someday.

Nizwa, Jabreen, Bahla
We had a really good day from start to finish. Communication beforehand was good and the tour was well organised from start to finish. The van was new, comfortable and we appreciated the cold water available throughout the day. We liked that the tour covered important historical sites in Oman.
Our guide, Mohammed Aldighaishi, made for a memorable day. He was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. We really enjoyed the day and his efforts.
Thank you

Superb day
A superb day out , visiting Nizwa fort and castle . Being expertly driven up and back down the mountain with full explanation by our guide and car enthusiast Aimen of how the 4 x 4 works .
Seeing the fossils so high up indicates how massive that earth quake must have been.
Followed by a cuppa and cake at the banana farm on our way back.

Beautiful sands, awesome guide
I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this experience, from the road trip and getting to talk to our super knowledgeable and friendly guide Qais, to the wadi where we got to take a dip in the clear waters and get my feet exfoliated by little fishies (optional but I recommend), to my favourite part of going to the desert sands and just absorbing the beauty of it at sunset

A Great Day!
I'm really glad I selected this tour. It was a beautiful, fun, and relaxing day, and everything went perfectly well and as expected based on the descriptions and reviews. Our guide Wadd was superior. I don't use WhatsApp so he took the time to communicate with me through the Viator app, and he was right on time in picking me up at my hotel. Wadd was kind and generous throughout the trip and never pressured us to hurry up, even though I think we were a bit slow and took a ton of photos. There were only three of us in the group so we were all comfortable in his 4x4 car. The scenery was gorgeous, and I learned a lot about Omani history at Fort Nawaz and the other historical sights we saw. The Khubz Ragag bread we tried at the fort was delicious. A must-try if possible. Our lunch was very good too. The mountains of Jebel Akhdar are lovely. You can clearly see the geologic forces that shaped them. I enjoyed stopping at the Al-Sharif Museum and seeing the beautiful views from the cafe deck there. I can highly recommend this great day tour and GidOman.

A wonderful tour from...
A wonderful tour from start to finish. The Nizwar fort and castle was terrific and the souk (which is in the same grounds) was really interesting, the Omanis are really friendly people and there is no hassle or pressure selling if you just want to stroll around the different stalls. The drive up and views from Jebel Akdah are stunning and then a visit to the fascinating little village of Birkat where you can wander round the abandoned farmers villages and get a sense of how they lived - wonderful little coffee shop up here as well - our guide Abdul was truly wonderful for the whole trip, a super friendly and knowledgeable guide, who we gelled with straight away. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and thank you again Abdul!

Fabulous day
Excellent trip despite the rough seas. The snorkelling was good (although sad to see so much dead coral) and wonderful to see so many turtles. A lovely lunch provided with a pleasant shaded area to relax in. Snacks also provided (dates and nuts, fruits) and plenty of water.

Great tour to the Wabi...
Great tour to the Wabi Shab and the sinkhole. Our guide Ammar knew his business, spoke excellent English and took his time to explain things. Don't forget to wear your swimming gear before heading there, so you can enjoy the nice swim to the cave. It was a bit busy when we got there, so try to be there early.

Great choice for a day tour from Muscat
Great day tour from Muscat. The scenery was gorgeous and the hike through the canyon and then the swim in the wadi provided a good amount of exercise, which is what we were after. The tour was well organised and the communication was seemless. We were very happy overall.

Our day in Iman
the tour was awesome, you have the best guide, we are traveling to different countries and we didn’t have any guide as Mahmood, super kind, respectful and he gave us a lot information about Oman, thank you for the tour you made our day. We will be back soon if God wants.

Great half day trip
Great half day of snorkelling.
The whole trip was about four hours from leaving Seeb Harbour. 30 minute fast speedboat ride to 1st snorkelling point, snorkelling from the boat.
We saw lots of turtles, coral and fish, sea was warm and calm, good visibility.
.Next stop was to an island nearby where you could walk to the beach from the boat and either sit, swim, snorkel or walk.
We then got back to Harbour at 5:30 as the Sun was setting.
There were plenty of drinks and snacks on the boat and Captain Happy Flower was excellent.
