What are people saying about Inverness

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on!
Absolutely incredible. Emily was our guide and driver and her commentary was so interesting and insightful and thoroughly enhanced the already awesome trip further. The places we visited were so beautiful and of course seeing the Loch Ness (from multiple vantage points!) was the highlight.
I will say, it may be a bit challenging at times for those with any walking disability (lots of stairs and some steeper inclines) but not completely un-doable.
All in all- highly recommend!!!

My Scottish adventure
À fabulous experience. Great tour guide, lots of knowledge, attentive, carrying and with a great sense of humour. Highly recommend this tour , the cruise was not a must for me, but if you need to see the monster, try your luck. spend your time enjoying the falls, the small villages and the sightseeing. And if you still have time try one of their Scottish sandwiches in one of the small villages.

Big fan of Mr.Fabulous
This was such a well thought out tour and our tour guide Murdock was an absolute delight a true treasure. He is an incredible story teller and does a good job intertwining his personal experiences with the history of Scotland. Truly a lovely guy who made driving all day go by. Highly recommend this tour and the WOW Scotland tour group. Lovely people all around

An adventure through history
An amazing historical experience filled with a bit of humour.
And what a pleasure it was to have a guide that is só knowledgable and can direct his knowledge how to different audiences.
We were really lucky to have someone who is an archeologist, à historian amongst some other things he does.

Well worth the price, full day of sights, stories and natural beauty
Well organized, great itinerary, great facts and fiction (stories). And plenty of bathroom and snack breaks!
Peach shared detailed but entertaining information, not just about the folklore of the area, but also about the scientific research that's been done in Loch Ness. She told us about each stop before, during and after, which really helped solidify the memory what we'd seen. It gets hard to absorb so much new info when you're traveling, she really brought it to life in a memorable way.
We had ample time at each stop and Peach clearly told us when to be back at the bus.
We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather (just a bit of rain) and all in all it was a fantastic day.
Wear good hiking/walking shoes, warm layers and a good raincoat (leave the umbrella at home), so you'll enjoy your day regardless of what the weather brings.

Do it!
It's a long day, but worth it. There was some confusion checking in ticket holders and putting them on the correct bus. The vans are comfortable and easy to get in and out. There were plenty of stops for photos. The narration, stories, and music were informative and entertaining. We enjoyed the day. The Scottish countryside is beautiful. Fish & Chips in Portree was the best we had on this trip.

Highly recommended Highland tour!
We highly recommend this guided tour! The tour is filled with many interesting sights and beautiful landscapes of the Highlands. Our guide, Ben, really knows his history, and managed to fill the entirety of the tour with stories and facts, while being an incredible driver in the curves and narrow Highland road. Thank you for a fantastic day!

Excellent day trip and tour from Inverness
This was a 9-hour tour including a Loch Ness River cruise, Urquhart Castle visit, Robertson Farm visit, lunch in Beauly, a whisky-tasting experience in Glen Ord, Clava Cairns, and Culloden Battlefield and Museum. I checked off the top things to do on my list in one day! The price was reasonable, and the tour guide Martin was delightful. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable about historical details...and fairy tales! I had an awesome experience and highly recommend this tour.

It's a very chill ride....
It's a very chill ride. Takes you through the beautiful Loch Ness with stunning views of Urquhart Castle (my favorite part). It's nothing fancy, but for the price it's worth it. There is an interesting history audio that plays for part of the trip. You can sit inside or outside on the boat.

A December Visit is Worthwhile
In addition to being exceptionally lucky with clear weather, our guide Sonia was an example of grace and humor personified.
Most people might think visiting the Isle of Skye in late December a bit of a lark, but we missed crowds and were able to easily enjoy every site. It was a magical day.

The famous Harry Potter train
We had a wonderful time on the tour. The highlight of the tour was the one-way Harry Potter train It was raining but we enjoyed the scenery and were able to see the bridge. Our tour guide Donnie was very good. He showed us much more than we were expecting. He gave enough time and attention to every single person in that bus. Driving and giving commentary same time 👍 amazing!

A must see!
FANTASTIC!!! We truly loved this trip. First, our guide, Liall, was amazing. He was professional, informative, and fun! I know it seems like a long day but it's really not. There is plenty to see and it's a great mixture of walking, sightseeing, and driving.
We had just the right amount of time in each spot. Dunrobin Castle was a nice place and the gardens are stunning. It's a great place to pick up a sandwich for take away if needed.
John O'Groats was beautiful. It's where the North Sea meets the Atlantic. There is a great distillery there for a quick flight of whiskey and a sweet treat.
Duncansby Stacks was probably one of my favorite stops. It was a wonderful walk along the cliffs and incredibly ocean view and breathtaking natural wonder of the stacks themselves.
There is so more to this tour and I'm happy we did it. It's such great way to enjoy this northeast area of Scotland without driving ourselves. We were able to sit back and relax during the drive and really see the gorgeous landscape.
Thank you Liall for making our day great! Your first aid skills were a blessing on this trip!!! :)
