Great tour to Stonehenge and Windsor with Evan Evans!

We had an excellent experience with Evan Evans Tours on their Stonehenge and Windsor full-day tour from London. Originally, we considered the Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath tour, but after hearing how rushed that itinerary can be, we were very happy with our decision to focus on Windsor and Stonehenge. The pace was relaxed and gave us enough time to genuinely enjoy both destinations. A huge thank you to our guide, Cameron (“Cammy Boy” as he jokingly introduced himself). His commentary was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. He somehow managed to make history both informative and entertaining, filling the journey with fascinating stories, humour, and memorable facts. We especially enjoyed all the explanations about English phrases and their origins, such as “honeymoon” and “it’s raining cats and dogs.” Every part of his presentation felt polished, engaging, and genuinely fun. Our driver, Sunil, also deserves recognition. The journey was so smooth and well-managed that we barely even thought about the logistics of the trip—which is probably the highest compliment a driver can receive. Everything ran seamlessly, and we always felt safe and comfortable. If Evan Evans has a Guide of the Year award, Cameron certainly deserves to be considered. We highly recommend this tour and would happily book with Evan Evans again.

The scenery at the Cliffs of Dover was breathtaking, and Canterbury was full of charm, history, and beautiful architecture. Lovely day in the Country

Long day but well worth it. Lots of history and beautiful country side! Luckily we had beautiful weather. Guide was good but my suggestion would be to assume no one knows anything about English history. I asked questions to gain a better understanding. Bus was nice.

Great introduction to the Cotswolds

Our tour guide, Rowan, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and had plenty of quirky facts and stories to share as well. She also took care and the time to ensure everyone knew how to get to where they needed to after the tour ended, which I thought was a lovely touch. Our driver, Pietro, was also great - he always managed to find a way to pick us up and drop us down on time, and in very busy spots! The coach was comfortable, and importantly, air-conditioned! The villages were stunning/charming, and the lunch was very good. If I had any criticism it would be that there was not a huge amount of time to explore, although that was very much impacted by the amount of traffic on the road (very heavy, which obviously the tour operators are unable to control). Overall, a great introduction to the Cotswolds!

Great City Escape!

Our trip to the Cotswolds and Oxford on Sunday, May 24 was fabulous. I wish I remembered our drivers name because he was so informative and kind. He made the trip so enjoyable! Yes it is busy but skipping such a magical place would be a shame. The bus is cozy and well equipped (no bathroom fyi). It’s a great city escape and Rabbis does a fantastic job:)

Yes! Book it!

Fantastic! This is the best way to experience Stonehenge. You truly get to walk among the rocks. Eva, our guide, was lovely and charming. She outlined the day so we could anticipate bathroom stops and dining opportunities. The bus was modern and comfortable. Our driver Neil was highly professional and the ride through the countryside is gorgeous. This tour is a perfect way to spend a day.

This was an excellent way to spend a day out of London. In London, Kevin was very organized and got our group seamlessly to Brighton. Adam was our guide once we arrived to the coast, and he was a great host. He was friendly, a good driver, shared very interesting information, and stayed cool as a cucumber throughout the day - even during moments outside of his control that could have been stressful. We had an amazing day exploring and learning about the Seven Sisters. The stop times were appropriate, the views were magnificent, and we enjoyed our time in East Dean for lunch. We would highly recommend this tour.

Kevin took us to four different villages and at each one he ensured we had an understanding and appreciation of each as well as unique features. The time spent at each location was ideal, and arriving early as we did at Castle Combe ensured we were able to enjoy this most beautiful village with just our small group. Being driven to the villages took the stress out of navigation and parking, and the small coach was very comfortable. As a solo traveler I even had my own window and single set. A great way to see this spectacularly preserved part of the country.

Great places to see all on one day

Really liked the tour. We got to see three paces in one tour a some of the country side. Kevin is a fenomenal guide. Very knowledgeable and eager to teach a bit more. I love how efficiently he helped us move around, giving us all the instructions and, good to know tips, before we reached each site which helped us getting in and out seamlessly.
