Great Panama stopover with Family

This was a great stop over experience. We were a family of 7 with a few young children. IFYKYK. Gabriel was our guide and did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and agile with our itinerary. His attention to timeliness allowed us to decide what was best for our family and how we wanted to experience panama. Communication before and during the trip was easy. He also taught us much of the detailed history of Panama and avoided some long lines. Highly recommended.

Excellent time with Alejandro!

My wife and I had a great time with our fantastic guide, Alejandro. In fact, my wife says it was her favorite excursion that we have ever done in Costa Rica. Since we were there in “rainy” season, it was not very busy at all and we enjoyed the trail and the falls mostly by ourself. The hike in probably took about an hour and I would rate it as a relatively easy hike with a few stream crossings and some easy stairs and ladders to navigate. Most anyone in relatively good physical condition should be able to complete this hike without too much difficulty. The falls are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the trail and swimming below the falls.

Amazing time! Dorian took us on our ATV ride and had beautiful views up in the hills. Getting to jump in and swim at the waterfall was such a cool experience. Lunch was good while we waited for ziplines. Jordan, Daniel, Jose, and Brian were funny and helpful. The lines were so much fun. It was my friends first time ziplining and she had a blast and very little nerves due to their confidence and instruction.

ATV fun with secluded beaches!

What fun! Don’t delay! Book this tour! Our tour guide Jason from 506 Transfers & Tours was great, very safe and knowledgeable! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the “back side” more raw view of Costa Rica while loving the two stops at Puerto Viejo and my favorite Bahia Piratas! What fun to each drive our own ATV through the back roads and experience these amazing secluded beaches and bars! The fresh pineapple at the end of the tour was a welcomed sweet treat! I highly recommend this tour for all groups and ages!

Incredible experience at Rio Celeste with the best guide (Carlos)!

We booked the Rio Celeste Combo with Blue Zone Tours and it exceeded all our expectations. The tubing activity on the river was super fun from beginning to end. A very special mention for our guide, Carlos, who made the whole experience perfect. Not only was he extremely kind and friendly, but he made us laugh throughout the entire trip. We learned so much from him on the way to the waterfall thanks to everything he explained to us, and he even helped us spot sloths in their natural habitat. Terrific experience

Had a surf lesson with Jesus. There were only two of us that morning, which was good for us, because the fewer participants, the more surfing :). Jesus was a very good teacher, kept the theory brief but still very understandable, and enabled us to be in the water more. With the lesson boards, standing up was no problem and was a lot of fun. Jesus explained tips and tricks to us again and again and was very communicative. Thank you Jesus, you were great.

Best rafting ever!!!!

Our family had an absolutely incredible experience with Amigos del Río! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. From the moment they picked us up at our Airbnb until they dropped us back off, everything was seamless, well organized, and so much fun. During the drive, our guides shared interesting facts about Costa Rica’s history, wildlife, culture, and the towns we passed through, making the drive part of the adventure. Our guides were funny, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel completely at ease. Safety was clearly their top priority, which was especially important since we were rafting with kids. They kept the children laughing while teaching them about the river and the surrounding rainforest, creating the perfect mix of adventure, education, and fun. One of our favorite parts of the day was stopping at a beautiful waterfall along the river. We had time to enjoy the scenery, cool off, and recharge while the guides served fresh fruit and snacks. It was such a beautiful stop and made an already amazing day even more memorable. The rafting was exciting, the scenery was breathtaking, and the entire Amigos del Río team was professional, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. To end the day, they treated us to a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch before driving us back to our Airbnb. If you’re visiting the Manuel Antonio or Quepos area, don’t miss this experience. We made unforgettable family memories and will absolutely book with Amigos del Río again the next time we’re in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

Monteverde Cloud Forest Night Wildlife Experience

Don’t sleep on this! Pun intended. But seriously, great refuge and service providers!

We were lucky enough to have Luis as our guide. He was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and was considerate of the forest. We were able to see more wildlife than I expected to see. Pit vipers, armadillos, several species of frogs and even a few beautiful birds nesting. My daughter was stung by a bee, which is no reflection of the property or the tour in any way. It’s a known risk of being in the jungle at night. A minor bee sting and wasn’t a concern. I bring this up, because our guide was equipped with a fist aid kit and showed compassion and had kind words to make sure we all knew it’s a standard bee sting and how to treat it for comfort. Well done Luis! If we are back in the area, I will certainly take another tour with Luis!

This tour was an amazing...

This tour was an amazing experience. As someone who is afraid of both heights and water due to not being a strong swimmer, I was nervous going in, but I would absolutely recommend it. The scenery throughout the tour was stunning. The ziplining portion did feel a bit rushed, and the photo and video package for ziplining wasn’t worth the cost. However the rafting portion was incredible and truly the highlight of the day. Our guide Moi/Moises was absolutely amazing, full of energy, incredibly enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He even pointed out wildlife along the way and let us take turns riding in the front like a bull, which was such a fun touch. He is truly a gem and I highly recommend requesting him if possible. The rafting photos were high quality, beautiful, and definitely worth purchasing.
