Top Costa Rica Float Trips - page 3

Not all sloth tours in Costa Rica are created equal. At Outdoor Explorer Costa Rica, we operate on a private reserve in Bijagua de Upala where every wildlife encounter is 100% natural — no animals are disturbed, touched, or stressed for the sake of a photograph. Our certified naturalist guide identifies over 500 bird species by call alone, turning every rustle in the canopy into a discovery. But what truly sets us apart is what happens after the rainforest walk. You board a float and glide silently across a private lagoon covered entirely in living vegetation — waterbirds landing inches away, wild orchids on the banks, the sounds of the jungle surrounding you completely. Two experiences in one visit. Two- and three-toed sloths in their natural habitat. Then the only floating lagoon wildlife safari in Bijagua. Small groups. Flexible times 8am to 4pm. A guide who genuinely loves what he does. This is responsible wildlife tourism — and the Costa Rica most tourists never find.
