Top Tortola Walking Tours

Road Town's history told through the voices who lived it — a jailed islander, a rum-runner, the woman credited with inventing the Painkiller sharing her original recipe. This isn't just a fact sheet on a walk; it's dramatised local storytelling woven into every stop, at your own pace. Discover Queen Elizabeth II's 1966 visit to Road Town, hear historical accounts of colonial life, and take part in photo and video challenges at each landmark. At the end of your tour, everything is compiled into a personalised photo and video album, emailed straight to you — a keepsake of the walk that's entirely your own. The tour runs on your mobile through the free Actionbound app, with audio and text at every stop, and works offline once downloaded. Start at Crafts Alive Village, a short walk from the cruise pier, and choose your stops in any order. Prefer less walking? Taxis are available in Road Town, so you can ride to the furthest stops and walk the rest. One booking covers your whole group.
