During the experience, you’ll learn the meaning behind the designs and recreate the iconic red “Shibaraku” Kumadori look yourself, step by step. All the kimonos in my collection were hand-picked and purchased by me. Some items were donated by friends, and they all have history and weren’t mass-produced. Not all but many kimonos are made of silk. I want you to feel the texture of Japanese silk. This cultural experience will take place at my house in a traditional tatami room.
