Very good option for solo travellers

Kajan collected me from the hotel at 6:30am and drove me on my own to the National Park, allowing for a coffee/toilet stop on the way. I was the only one on the safari, due to it being off season, and it was enjoyable. Please remember to bring 2000 rupias to tip the Safari tour guide, Safari jeep driver and Kajan (if you are doing it all solo). Although the trip cost me $400, plus the entry fees to get into the safari and the tips, I feel it was worth it and Kajan was great.

Great tour guide/driver would was very knowledgable about the wide variety of animals and had wonderful customer service. We saw a wide variety of animals and appreciate the effort that invested to ensure we saw as much as possible. The safari vehicle was brand new and incredibly comfortable - definitely the best vehicle in the park! Would highly recommend this provider and plan on returning with my daughter ASAP.

Amazing safari with Jayashan

Me and my partner did the half day safari in the afternoon and had the best experience possible. We saw around 20-30 elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, a ton of birds and some amazing plants. Our driver Jayashan was amazing at spotting the animals and knew so much! I would definitely recommend both the trip and especially Jayashan. Book this trip - you will not be disappointed.

Gimhana was very helpful throughout, even offering us help with our transport. As we were Indians, he told us to bring our passports to the national park so that we can get the tickets at discounted prices. It saved us around 3000 LKR. Throughout the safari he was very patient and always waited for us when we wanted to stop and click pictures. A great experience, would highly recommend him.

Thanks to the timely information about the pickup, everything worked perfectly. The safari was a wonderful experience. The park is not overcrowded with tourists and we were able to see and observe various animals (elephants, crocodiles and different bird species, etc.). Our trip from Ella to Udawalawe National Park was organized very well! The driver was on time, very friendly and even showed us a local herbal garden on the way to the national park which was quite interesting. Our Jeep driver and guide in the National Park was also very friendly and attentive, and showed us the hidden birds, lizzards and crocodiles throuthough the tour. And of course, we saw a lot of elephants 🐘👌🏼

Worth a visit

Really enjoyed our trip into Udawalawe National Park. We did a morning safari, (6am 10th March 2024). The driver was prompt and professionally friendly. The vehicle is in excellent condition. A very comfortable drive. Had a great few hours in the park observing assorted wildlife - notably elephants, but buffalo, jackals, monkeys, crocodiles. A traffic jam around the significant elephant sighting and a somewhat busy park but not as crazy as Yala.

Highlight of our visit to Sri Lanka

Had a great day out on this tour. The jeep ride to the national park is quite an experience on its own as you see lots of local villages along the way. The national park is very impressive and very beautiful. We had an excellent guide and once we were in the park he knew exactly where to stop to see lots of wildlife. We saw many exotic birds, monkeys, water buffalo, deer, crocodile, jackal and of course the wild elephants. It was amazing to see the elephants in the wild and so close by to our jeep. The elephant orphanage was very crowded when we visited but is clearly doing good work returning the young elephants to the national park when they are old enough. A great day out highly recommended
