During this workshop on the Dingle Peninsula, we investigate and explore our camera settings at a series of wonderful scenic locations on the western edge of the Dingle Peninsula, that are specially chosen to demonstrate various aspects of photography. As you become confident and more creative using aperture and shutter speed settings, we’ll discuss using different types of lenses and mastering automatic and manual focusing. Towards the end of the session, we’ll discuss and experiment with filters, low light and long exposure photography towards the evening.

Choose a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery interiors, a premium whiskey tasting, or even a cocktail masterclass for a deep dive into the history and production of Irish whiskey. Learn about what makes this whiskey so special, taste and mix, and even shop in the distillery store.

Create custom cocktails on this distillery tour and masterclass led by the founder and head mixologist of Cork’s Rebel City Distillery. Many distillery visits focus only on production without teaching visitors how to properly enjoy the spirits they're tasting. On this small-group experience, master shaking and stirring methods to create two bespoke drinks using spirits crafted on-site.

Explore traditional flavors during an Irish gastronomy experience in Kinsale. Learn about local honey and the fermentation process to turn honey into mead. Hear stories about mead over centuries of Irish history and sample a variety of meads and cocktails during a guided tasting. Experience another side of Kinsale’s culinary history with a visit to a meadery.

Take a creative break in County Cork with a craft lesson at Europe’s only toy soldier factory. After your instructors guide you through the process of making a miniature model of your choice, enjoy a walk through the factory’s miniature model exhibitions, including historical dioramas and Lord of the Rings characters.

Besides learning to dance, your instructor tells you all about Irish culture and tradition during the class. Learn ceili, or Irish social dancing, and make a few new friends in the process, too.
