Top Osaka Prefecture Fitness Classes in 2026

Train at Miyagino Stable’s former Osaka camp, an authentic sumo facility once used by legendary Yokozuna Hakuho and other professional sumo wrestlers. Unlike simply watching sumo, this hands-on experience lets you practice the traditional exercises used by wrestlers, including shiko, koshiwari, suriashi, and teppo. Learn about sumo’s history, traditions, etiquette, and rules with step-by-step instruction in English. Wear a traditional mawashi, put your new skills into action in a friendly sumo match, and take commemorative photos inside this historic training venue. No previous sumo or sports experience is required, making the activity welcoming and enjoyable for complete beginners.
