With my 20+ years of home cooking experience, I am happy to offer Hand-rolled sushi, a very popular Japanese dish available only at home, not in restaurants! I very much care about the FRESHNESS of LOCAL ingredients, such as rice and seaweed harvested in Kobe, and I make sure that those ingredients are prepared with traditional Japanese tools.

You can enjoy an authentic tea ceremony experience in a traditional Japanese room. The session includes a professional demonstration, tasting of matcha tea, and a hands-on experience of making matcha yourself. As an option, you can also enjoy the experience while wearing a kimono.

The host grew up connected to this house and its history, offering personal stories that bring the space to life. Guests can use and learn about authentic Sasayama-yaki pottery, including rare pieces created by the host's great-grandfather, a local potter whose work remains part of the family's legacy. Rather than simply watching a performance, you'll experience tea culture in a living, personal setting where history, family heritage, local craftsmanship, and hospitality come together. Whether you've tried a tea experience before but still have lingering questions, or if you're looking to learn the basics before attending a formal tea ceremony, this is the perfect place for you.

At the Izushi Eirakukan in the castle town of Izushi, which looks good in kimono, we will wear a kimono and take a photo. First of all, you will slowly choose your favorite kimono from more than 100 types of kimono, and the dresser will dress it. Professional photographers are on standby at Izushi Eirakukan.
