The area is home (or an important stop-over) for resident and migratory birds, such as Flamingos, Herons, Egrets, Spoonbills, Gulls and Terns. Desert fauna and flora are also flourishing just around these two spots, including plants of traditional importance and unbelievable parasitic flowers.
