Offering interactive education and entertainment in Liberec, the modern science center iQLANDIA has a 3D planetarium and hundreds of original exhibits relating to science and technology. It is even home to the first—and only—humanoid robot in the Czech Republic.

Originally built as a fortress in the 14th century, Cervena Lhota is one of the Czech Republic’s most Insta-worthy castles. Standing on an island on a lake in forested Bohemia, this 16th-century castle-turned-residence is distinguished by its high deep-red walls, a feature that lent it its name of cervena, which means “red” in Czech, in the 17th century.

The Jan Becher Museum is dedicated to one of the Czech Republic's most beloved drinks, Becherovka. Visitors can learn about the beverage, tour the distillery and the original cellars, and sample this herbal liqueur that has been produced for centuries. It’s made from a secret recipe based on more than 20 types of herbs and spices.

Cesky Sternberk Castle sits on a cliff over the small village of Sternberk, in the countryside of Bohemia. It was built in the 1240s, redesigned in the Gothic style in the 15th century, and renovated in the baroque style in the 17th. It’s still owned by descendants of its original owners, who still live there.
