Our guide Udayanga was the best. We had several amazing experiences with the elephants and also observed a leopard and a sloth bear and avoided the crowds. It felt like we had the park to ourselves . He was friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we had a terrific safari.

Amila was amazing. A very skilled safari guide. He knew where the leopard was going. We sat for a bit and sure enough the leopard came out of the woods. We had a wonderful view of the leopard

We were picked up on time at our hotel and drove to Yala park for the afternoon safari. We saw a lot of elephants (with baby!), deers, buffalo’s, birds and a crocodile. Unfortunately no leopard
The driver was very good at spotting the animals and he asked what we wanted to see.

Didn’t spot a leopard unfortunately on our 7 hour safari trip, but saw lots of other wildlife which was just as impressive!
Our guide Nissanaka was great!

Amazing while day Safari! Our guide was friendly, fun, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to take us around the park. He even worked one hour over time to show us 2 leopards at the end of the day. He showed respect for the wildlife and we got to come up close with several elephants. We had a 2 hour lunch break from 12-2pm when the park is closed where he served delicious home cooked srilankan curry. Memories of a lifetime.

Such an amazing experience! We had a leopard come right up to our jeep and lay down right in front of us. I didn't expect to get up so close. Truely amazing. We also saw a sloth bear, an elephant, buffalo, deer, mongoose, dung beetle, and a huge amount of different birds.

Unforgettable experience.
We saw so many animals and our guide was the best, he made sure we were first at the entrance and that we had enough time with every animal we encountered.
He provided us with a delicious lunch and we had plenty of snacks and cool water during the whole safari.
Thank you so much for the amazing experience!

What an amazing day! We were picked up at 5 AM at our hotel by Udayanga, and taken to the entrance of the park. We waited until the park opened at 6, and went right in. We immediately came across a young elephant right by the side of the road! Through the rest of the morning, Udayanga took us around to a bunch of his “hot spots”, and we came across multiple families of elephants, wild boars, water buffalos, etc. For lunch, he grabbed a table for us and laid out a nice spread of rice, curry, chicken, green beans, and fresh cut watermelon. After lunch, he was on a mission to find a leopard, but despite his efforts, we were not successful. He felt extremely bad that he wasn’t able to find one, and apologized multiple times (obviously not his fault!). He brought us back to the hotel by ~6:30. What a great day!

Absolutely amazing experience with our guide Udayanga. We saw a really wide range of wildlife, including a large leopard, many elephants (and some with tusks), deer, water buffalo and lots of bird life. Udayanga was very knowledgeable and had a knack for getting us in the right place at the right time. We were the 5th car into the park that morning and I expect the car with the best viewing spots all morning. A must do on your visit to Sri Lanka’s south!

You will receive a confirmation email from the day before and a photo of your car to pick you up, so you can rest assured. It's early morning but you'll be picked up on time. The guide driver seemed very used to finding many animals. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the leopard because it was raining the night before, but the driver tried very hard to find it while keeping in touch with his fellow drivers.
The car shakes a bit because of the rough road, but I experienced a great view.
