Overview

Swim within safe proximity to humpback whales, which migrate along the Coral Coast between early August and the end of October. NOTE: For Humpback Whale swims, exact pickup times will be confirmed closer to your tour date. As early-mid September our boats move from Tantabiddi boat ramp to Exmouth Marina boat ramp. Therefore times vary slightly depending on where we will be departing from.   • Please note children 12 years and under are not permitted to swim or enter the water with a Humpback Whale. Observing children are welcome to join the morning snorkel on Ningaloo Reef and observe the Humpback Whale Interactions from the vessel.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
  • **Due to the nature of this adventurous activity Swimming with Humpback Whales, you must be a medium-strong swimmer to participate. If you are not confident to swim unassisted in deep water without touching the bottom, please contact our office to discuss alternative tour options (eg the whale shark tour).
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 14 travelers

FANTASTIC WHALE OF A DAY

We had a wonderful day out on the water. The staff were amazing pointing out various things to see while snorkelling, like cuttle fish and a beautiful octopus l got to watch change colour to blend in with the Coral it attached too. We saw many whales and their calves breaching. We even got to swim with two separate whale sharks as they were gracefully swimming along with smaller fish attatched to their underbelly. The food was delicious. Overall a wonderful memorable day finished off with a glass of bubbly or beer. Congrats to the staff for making our day a fantastic experience

Highly recommend these guys. I had an amazing experience with Drawcard boat crew. Very informative and thorough. All equipments and photographers are included. Highly recommend to take motion sick pills before boarding the boat for max experience!

To be in the water and see the humpback mother and calf swim under us about 8 meters away - truly amazing. The teamwork and professionalism of vessel crew were outstanding and ensured a perfect day. Thank you 3 Islands - you did a great job. Will be back for the whale shark next year.

Just incredible. The crew on the boat made the day amazing, we were well looked after, catered for and reassured and got to see and swim with some incredible humpback wales.

The tour was so amazing. We had three times in the water swimming with the humpbacks and the third time they came swimming around us having a look. We heard them singing. That‘s unbelievable. The crew has been perfect organised where we had to go into the water to wait for the whales. They explained everything to us and we had a great lunch on board. Thanks a lot to the photographer for the photos of the trip. I love them. If somebody‘s looking for a once in a lifetime experience, I can really recommend this tour.

I had such an amazing and wonderful experience with the 3 Islands crew. Sarah, Mel, Amy, Nos and pilot Tif were friendly, professional, and well organised. The day was so smooth and enjoyable, the catering delicious (salads, fruits, sandwiches, hot tea and coffee, sunset drink to boot!). I realised my bucket list dream of swimming with the humpback whales and the whale shark! Unforgettable. Thank you ☺️
