we were told to go upstairs which we did only to be embarrassed when the meal came out and they said we didn’t have a blue arm band. At no stage did the staff tell us we were in the wrong area and they had plenty of time to notice. It was a completely innocent mistake on our behalf and we didn’t appreciate the embarrassment

Wow, this is a great cruise. Very well organised. Friendly crew. Safety is a priority but doesn’t intrude. Informative commentary. Lots of sea and bird life pointed out to us. Delicious ploughmans lunch while anchored in Wineglass Bay. And the scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend.

Staff very accommodating, the day we had booked our trip the weather was not good so they rang us asking if we would be happy to stay in Osyter Bay, I asked if there were any places for the following day. Luckily there was. The cruise to wineglass bay was fabulous and again the staff looked after you and answered any questions, re the area. We saw fur seals, pods of dolphins, albatross and beautiful scenery and beaches.

Beautiful experience. We were lucky with perfect weather and saw plenty of dolphins and seals. The staff were amazing and looked after everyone on board. The sky lounge is definitely worth the money.

What a wonderful experience even when it rained all day. The skipper Josh was amazing at the wheel and had a lot of knowledge about the area and under the sea. We saw whales, seals, and many different types of birds. Mark our Hostess was excellent, never failing to ask you if you needed a drink or anything else while sailing. What an adventure it was.

Tour ran an hour over as an attempt to get into Wineglass Bay through a choppy swell was forfeited.
People who had booked through another Agency were warned by phone that Wineglass Bay may be inaccessible giving them a chance to pull out but Viator did not do this.

Nice and relaxing. Great meal if you take the lunch meal option. Prices on board for snacks and drinks very reasonable also. Nice views. Bryan’s Bay was our favourite (yes, better than wineglass bay). Enjoyed. Saw lots of dolphins and seals. Friendly and entertaining staff.

Bring warm clothes. The weather can change quickly and the wind can be quite cold. I would recommend bringing a scarf.

The boat was very comfortable and the crew very attentive and knew their job. Prices were very reasonable at the canteen as well with a good range of options. What I didn't like was the lack of available seating whilst waiting to board. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and can't stand for long. Sitting on rocks outside or on steps outside is simply not good enough. I'm 83 and many other passengers would be at least this or in their 70's. Better reception facilities and/or outside seating should be provided as a matter of priority.
