Disappointed but understandable

Unfortunately we did not get to experience our activity. We were informed early morning that it was cancelled due to technical difficulties. The operator of the tour was very apologetic for this inconvenience and we are supposed to get a full refund. He has kept us informed of the refund and this was greatly appreciated. We will actually see it when deposited in our account. It would have been terrific getting off the ship after sailing for days in open waters.

Great intro to Punta Arenas when short on time

Nice short hop on/off tour of Punta Arenas. Interesting things to see Drivers were all friendly (we hopped off/on several times. Great for a cruise ship stop that wasn't very long. We arrived late but the host was able and willing to accommodate us. Highly recommend

Beware - this company is a scam

THIS IS A SCAM!!! They never showed up despite claiming they were at the pier with a sign. I texted the tour guide who responded the morning of the tour UNTIL an hour before pick-up time. Then he stopped responding so I did “live chat”. They give me a link for an address (1/2 hour after we were to meet our tour guide) which was at the pier but there was no one at the pier with a sign. We walked to the tourist building and they said there is no HOP ON tour and did not know of a tour company called Amigos Patagonia or VIATOR! Beware this is a scam!!

Our team was present inside the cruise terminal building for the entire day, holding a clearly marked HOP sign, with three HOP buses operating continuously. Multiple Viator guests joined the tour successfully, and the service was delivered in full. The official meeting point, as communicated, was inside the cruise terminal. All guests who arrived at this location were met and assisted by our staff. The reviewer appears to have gone independently to a nearby public square, which is not our designated meeting point, and where we were not operating. We acknowledge that message response time may have been delayed briefly during peak operations. This occurred while our team was actively assisting guests on site to ensure safe boarding, departures, and timely returns to the port. At no point was the service unattended or inactive. Amigos Patagonia is a registered, established local operator with a documented history of successful tours and verified reviews across Viator and other platforms. We do not operate anonymously, and the tour did not fail to operate. We regret that this guest was unable to connect with the group; however, the characterization of this experience as a “scam” is factually incorrect, as the tour was operating, staffed, and delivered to multiple travelers that same day.
