The schedule / itinerary was changed last minute, but I was very well informed about it so I had no issues. It was still a fun and organized tour that made me learn a lot about wine growing in this part of France. Kim was an amazing guide and I’d like to commend her for accommodating all our questions.
Kim was a great guide, providing a lot of information to further understand the wines we were tasting. We went to 2 domains, and also did a quick detour by Vienne.
We basically visited 2 wineries and did tastings.
Our guide was kind and knowledgeable. One of the wineries we visited has just gotten their AOC rating.
It was basic and not really worth the cost.
If you have the chance, do this tour. Kim is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, not just about the wines of the Rhone but in general. The two wineries we visited were very different than each other, as were their wines, and we had 7 tastings at each stop. We got to see the cellars and hear about the history of their wines. The scenic view stop on the way back was the icing on the cake - thoroughly recommend.
Guide was good, although it was quite an expensive activity for the value that you get. I would probably explore other options in future.
Kim was awesome and the value was great. Amazing wines. A great way to spend a half day. We booked this last minute and it turned out to be a great find.
Fun half day trip from Lyon. The 2 wineries we visited had very nice wine and the focus was very much on the terroir. Learned a lot about this micro region.
The tour included a lovely ride through wine country with Francios sharing lots of facts about the region. At each winery tasted six wines. It was nice to see the contrast between a small operation versus a larger one. Car ride very comfortable. Recommend for anyone wine lover or just wine region curious.
Good wines but poor guide/driver. He left without making sure all patrons were securely in the vehicle, weaved in and out of the traffic and scared all passengers. Spoke down to all English speaking participants often targeting them in what felt like deeming tone. On a positive note, we tried many wines that tasted nice. It is shame the guide ruined the experience.
We tasted several wines at two vineyards. Eddy and the staff at the vineyards were so friendly and very helpful!
Beautiful drive through ancient vineyards, very informative and friendly tour guide, 2 vineyard visits… and best of all, I learned what could be made from my garden Concord grapes.

Eddie, our guide, was nice and engaging, which made the tour enjoyable. We visited two wineries, learned a bit of history, and stopped in a charming town with great views. The wines were fine, though not especially memorable. Overall a pleasant experience, maybe not the best value.

This was a wonderful introduction to the Northern Rhône! We visited two wineries - the first was a much older and more established winery where we toured the facilities and did a guided tasting of 6 wines with some very light nibbles (bread, cheese, meat). Well priced bottles - I bought one to take home for €25. The second stop was a much newer producer who started during covid. It was interesting to learn about how they have started and navigating the complex legal requirements for wines in the region. We tasted four of their five wines and bought another for €13 which we enjoyed by the river in Lyon later that day. Our guide, Eddy, was knowledgeable and friendly, interpreting for the producers when needed. Highly recommend as a half-day experience to learn more about the region’s wines!

Great afternoon. Two small wineries. Wonderful wine experience in beautiful countryside. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
Perfect for a half day trip to learn about northern Rhône wines. We learned a lot. Our guide Francois was knowledgeable and pleasant. The meeting location was super easy and the drive out to the wineries pleasant. The tour description mentions the Roman ruins of Vienne. There was no mention of this during our tour. . We did not see it at all. So that was misleading. Overall, a worthwhile trip if you are wanting to do something outside of Lyon that is easy. We really enjoyed learning more about the northern Rhône wines!
Some uphill walking, I suggest wear good shoes. Stopped at two wineries. Very good for a 1/2 day tour
Sampled 5 wines at each of two vineyards. Guide Francois was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Perfect amount of time.
It was an enjoyable four hours exploring the Northern Rhône Valley with Roman as our guide! His expertise was evident and he made sure that we all had a great time!
This is very enjoyable trip with many wines for tasting and a great learning experience. The guide was on time and very informative.
Our tour operator, Eddy was exceptional! We learned so much about the wines, regulations and classifications of wine in France and enjoyed visiting and tasting wines from two top rated vineyards.
Eddie was a great host, very attentive and cared about our experience. His knowledge about the region and french wine in general was outstanding. The attendants at the wineries knew and respected him. A great afternoon!!!!!
Our guide Francios was great. The area surrounding the vineyards was stunning. Francois took us to a great spot for pictures. The two wineries were nice but the volume of wine poured for tasting was very small...so much so that it was difficult to assess each wine.
Perfect half day experience. Meeting space is behind the Lyon Visitor Center in the square.
Both tastings were excellent as well as the trip to top of a hill overlooking the entire wine valley.
We tried seven wines at the first stop with some very light snacks. The second stop we tried six wines, no food. Definitely bring along a snack.
We would recommend the trip if you are looking for a quick 4-5 hours wine experience. Not a lot of extras. Our guide "Matt" was brand new but did an excellent job. Driving is Easter weekend traffic was tough.

Very nice wine tastings. View of grape vines from mountaintop was incredible!! First tasting location was my favorite with proprietor providing great info in professional manner. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend
