The Bio Bay has microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates that produce a glowing effect when they are stirred by our paddles. What should I wear? Come prepared to get wet from your waist down. Lightweight, synthetic clothing or a swimsuit is the best. Do not walk bare foot on the beach for safety reasons. What to bring? Change of clothes, towel and mosquito repellent (just in case!). If I could give this tour 10 stars I would! Rafael was amazing and you could see the passion he has for what he does. He made everyone comfortable and made sure if was a trip to remember. He even offered to help me with my camera settings to take better pics. He showed us all the little things that most would skip. He showed us the 4 snail species, the one with the shell inside was the coolest. Pointed out multiple plant species and we saw hummingbirds which I love. On the return trip Joshua was our driver and he was just as personable as Rafael. Got us back to our respective destinations with jokes and laughs The fact that both referred to my hubby and I as Michigan was epic 🤣

Engaging, interactive, unforgettable tour with the best tour guide!

We booked our tour with Enrique for our daughter's 16th birthday, and both he and the experience exceeded our expectations and made it a trip to remember. Thanks to his timeliness, we were the first to enter the rainforest and had ample time to get started on our experience with just our small group, which felt exclusive and magical. Enrique was personable, engaging, and gave a great education on the rainforest, and made sure to go at a comfortable pace for everyone. Our daughter i generally reerved, but Enrique pulled her out of her shell by allowing her to lead the group as we traversed and getting her involved. When it came to safety, Enrique explained everything carefully and gave helpful tips to ensure we were safe throughout the journey. Sliding down the natural rock formations was the highlight of our trip, as well as the fruit charcuterie Enrique prepared for us at the end of our tour. After we remarked how amazing the mango was, he even gave us one to take back to our resort. I'd recommend Enrique without hesitation for anyone looking for a memorable experience and an unforgettable journey. 10/10!

Worth it!

Great tour and rainforest experience! Sebastian was friendly, very knowledgeable and a fun guide. Definitely geared toward kids 10+ and adults in decent physical shape. We went to two waterfall slides and the cliff/rope jumping. It covered 2 miles in about 2 hours. The fresh fruit before the hike back to the car was a sweet surprise. Would recommend for a quick rainforest trip.

Flyboarding was such a fun and unforgettable experience! Although the excursion was definitely challenging, we had an amazing time. Our tour guides were incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire experience. They made us feel comfortable, encouraged us every step of the way, and never made us feel rushed or discouraged. Their patience and positive attitudes truly made the experience even more enjoyable. We had so much fun and would definitely recommend this adventure to anyone looking to try something new and exciting!

Great Tour, Excellent Guide

I did a lot of research looking for an El Yunque tour because I'm not in great shape and was traveling with a seven year old - this tour really hit the spot! The logistics were beautiful - everything was well timed and the stops all felt worth it. Our tour guide, Angel, was amazing - he truly went above and beyond helping everyone get around!

We had such an amazing time ziplining through the beautiful forest! Rey and the entire team were absolutely fantastic! Not only did they make the experience fun and exciting, but they also took the time to teach us about the local plants, insects, and wildlife we might encounter along the way. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The views were beautiful, and flying through the air was definitely an experience I’ll never forget! 🌴✨ If you’re looking for something exciting and adventurous to do, I HIGHLY recommend this zipline! Michael was such an excellent and interesting guide, I am very glad that we booked with them. He clearly cares deeply about the rainforest and the experience of his guests - I am happy we were able to see this beautiful environment through his eyes. This park can get crowded, and after an initial rounding of the corner and seeing so many people we were initially hit with ‘what have we done’ - as this is the experience we were not after. But Michael graciously navigated us through and we quickly forgot and almost appreciated the others around us. It’s clear that all the other guides knew and respected him and we couldn’t have selected a better guide. The private tour here is the best choice.

Javier did a fabulous job...

Javier did a fabulous job on our tour. While the rainforest was very busy when we visited, Javier took us to places that were very calm so we didn’t feel overwhelmed by people. He knew the ins and outs of parking and where to take us. He was willing to take us to other spots too, although gave great advice about what was safe versus unsafe and what would likely be very crowded. As a guide he had access to some spots that tourists don’t have access to, so it felt like the rainforest was just ours when we were there. He also did great with the kids and the whole family. For reference, our kids are 9, 7, 5 and 2. We brought a soft sided backpack carrier for our youngest, and put life jackets in the car for the little two for swimming. Everyone had a wonderful time! The older kids even got to swing on a rope into the river, which will be a core memory I am sure :)

Wonderful Experience!

The staff members were very friendly and energetic! They are also very knowledgeable about the location, rip tides and made sure everyone felt safe at all times. Upon arrival and check in, instructions began promptly so we could make the most of our time. There was a short break half way through, water and a snack were provided before we finished off the end of the lesson. Overall, it was a blast! Highly recommend!
