Fantastic experience
Would highly recommend this activity.
Our tutors were friendly, enthusiastic about their cuisine, knowledgeable and engaging.
We got to learn a lot about local ingredients and cooking techniques in a relaxed, organised and clean environment.
Small group experience and fully English-speaking which made following the instructions very easy.
We got to eat the food that we made which was delicious.
Couldn’t recommend enough

Same experience
I had a great time during the sake experience! Our guide, Kiyomi, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, welcoming, and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of throughout the experience. I learned a lot about sake, including the process behind making it and the culture and history surrounding it. Kiyomi explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made the experience both fun and educational.
This was definitely more than just a tasting—it was a great opportunity to learn something new while enjoying the experience. I really enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Japanese culture and sake. I will definitely be going back!

A sake-filled adventure
We had such an amazing time on our sake tour in Japan! 🍶🇯🇵 My sister and I had the best experience exploring the sake museums, learning about the history and process of sake-making, and, of course, tasting an incredible 22 different types of sake!
Our guide was wonderful, and the entire experience was fun, informative, and such a memorable part of our trip. It was the perfect combination of Japanese culture, history, and tasting something new. My sister and I had so much fun together and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan! ❤️🍶
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Lived up to expectations and beyond
This was a wonderful experience and completely lived up to our expectations and beyond. My son had especially been excited (aged 16). It was so well run, our small group had plenty of time and never felt rushed. Learning the history and then training and getting to strike with the sword was amazing. Highly recommend

An Unforgettable Cooking Experience with Midori
We had such a wonderful cooking class with Midori today! We learned how to make delicious gyoza, onigiri, and ramen, and every single dish turned out amazing. There was so much food that we left completely full and happy!
From the moment we arrived, Midori welcomed us into her home like old friends. She was incredibly warm, personable, and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. The class struck the perfect balance between hands-on cooking and watching her demonstrate techniques, so we not only had fun but also came away feeling like we truly learned how to make each of these dishes ourselves.
Everything was explained clearly, the food was absolutely delicious, and we left feeling confident that we can recreate these recipes at home.
Thank you so much, Midori, for such a memorable experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and we would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Feels like dinner with friends
We could not have asked for a more gracious and charming host. Kana and assistant Kevin were incredibly friendly and made the experience one for my teen/tween daughters and I to remember. After a day of sightseeing and exploring, entering their sushi making kitchen and dining space felt immediately peaceful. Making sushi with Kana was engaging and informative as we chatted the night away. Kana and Kevin were kind, and freely shared their knowledge and insight into Japan with us. It was like having dinner with friends. Highly recommend!

Great experience for whole family
This was a great experience but be sure to book a ninja or samurai experience. Our 4 year old was able to enjoy it as well. Museum is really cool with samurai armors, weapons and very informative. Afterward, we go for ninja experience which was real fun. We dress as ninjas and throw shurikens, fire blowguns and have sword fights.

We had a wonderful tour....
We had a wonderful tour. Our guide Austen showed us around hidden alleys with cool spots. He helped us spot a few rare geisha sightings and at the end of the tour, he helped us find a fun restaurant for dinner. He was also super helpful with recommending other things to see and places to eat.

We had an awesome...
We had an awesome experience in Kyoto! This was such a unique way to see a lot of areas in the city. Our tour guide, Fumi, was so knowledgeable about the shrines and everything we passed and very entertaining during our tour. Fumi also took a lot of fun pictures of my husband and I during the tour, which was awesome. We did the 70 minute tour and felt like it was a good amount of time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Amy was a fabulous guide....
Amy was a fabulous guide. She was early to meet us, very knowledgeable and got us everywhere we wanted to go. She was responsive to our needs and flexible when we needed her to be. Very grateful for our day in Kyoto and highly recommend her and this tour.

My first kimono
It took us a while to find the shop but once we got there things went smoothly.
It was quite an experience to be fitted into the kimono. I had no idea of the undergarments which were a part of the outfit. My friend and I had a ball walking through the streets of Kyoto.
