Departing Douz in the late afternoon, the two-hour ride carries you deep into the desert, arriving at camp around sunset. THE SAHARA WITH NOMADS Arriving in Douz, it is better to immerse yourself in the great Desert, to live a wonderful adventure with nomads. A great transfer of 70km deep into the Desert to meet the caravan of dromedaries, your guide and the camel drivers, and the journey begins. A unique outing to completely cut off from the world. A real cure, a change of scenery, living to the rhythm of nature... walking alongside the dromedaries... Once tired, each one has a mount... Learn from your companions the nomads, sing, dance and especially taste local dishes.

Trade the town for the deep Sahara on an overnight 4x4 expedition from Douz to Tembaine, the mountain the Berber call "the mountain seen from afar". Two and a half hours across the dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental bring you to Tiniri Camp, where you can sandboard the soft slopes before the sun drops. Watch sunset turn the whole erg gold from the top of the dunes, then gather around a large campfire for bread baked in the hot sand, a mixed traditional dinner and a sky thick with stars. Sleep in a comfortable desert tent and wake for sunrise over the dunes before breakfast and the drive back to Douz.
