I’ve just returned from the most perfect day exploring Ubud with my wonderful guide and driver, Oka — and I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Oka is one of the best guides I’ve ever experienced. He was punctual, incredibly knowledgeable and informative, endlessly patient, and had the biggest smile and warmest heart throughout the entire day. Most importantly, he genuinely cared about making sure I had the most wonderful experience possible. He took the time to listen to what I was interested in and what I wanted to see, and then tailored the day perfectly around me. Nothing ever felt rushed, and I felt completely looked after from beginning to end. We visited some truly beautiful places, including the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Tegenungan Waterfall, the beautiful Pura Puseh Desa Batuan Temple, and the Sacred Monkey Forest, where the cheeky monkeys certainly kept things entertaining! 🐒 I enjoyed every single moment of the day, and so much of that was down to Oka’s kindness, enthusiasm and wonderful personality.
