- Please note the driver is not a tour guide, however, he will be willing to help you as much as he can
- After the service is booked, you can ask for a travel consultant for free of charge to provide non-bias local tips and activities, things to do, local restaurants, and famous local markets
- In Thailand, only Thai is an official language, so please do not expect excellent English language skills from the drivers. The English proficiency of the driver is not fluent, but he can definitely communicate in English with you
- The English proficiency of drivers is varied; you can be guaranteed a good English-speaking driver if the booking is made at least 3 days in advance
- Please note that this tour only provides pickup from hotels in Phuket.

Wonderful drive all around Phuket. Just husband and wife! Very nice van with air conditioning. Met our driver right outside after exiting the ship at the port. Exactly at the planned meeting time. Raz our driver/guide was great!! We got to see all of the major highlights with plenty of time visiting each one. Took awesome photos.
I got Thai currency THB out of the ATM which was great. The pick up charge was 500 ($15), I bought a gorgeous scarf at the Big Buddha for 200 ($6.00) and then gave a tip in the local currency for the 6 hour tour.
We had a beautiful day seeing Phuket. Very beautiful and very safe!!

We booked a private tour. Our driver/guide Tum was great. He was very helpful and friendly. We went for half a tour with Tum to see Phuket old town

Had a great private tour with Peter.
He even taught me a few Thai words.
Very kind and patient as I travelled with an infant, and tour was nice slow pace while seeing all on my list. Wat Chalong temple, Big Buddha, Phuket old town, and a scenic viewpoint for lunch.
Just to note if travelling with an infant - I was told fine to bring my own baby car seat, but I forgot to ask for a vehicle with 3 point seat belt to install my car seat! We had to workaround that and make do.
Highly recommend this tour!

I had a wonderful experience on this private customized Phuket tour. My driver, Dol, arrived right on time and was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire day. He shared great recommendations for restaurants, resorts, and places to visit around the island, which I really appreciated.
Dol was an excellent driver and even helped point out some of the best photo spots along the way. He made sure I always had water and was very attentive to make sure I was comfortable.
What I loved most about this tour was the flexibility. I was able to go exactly where I wanted and spend as much time as I liked at each stop without ever feeling rushed.
I would definitely recommend this private customized tour to anyone visiting Phuket.

This was a great experience with Rita, our driver. Unlike taking a regular tour, you get to pick your adventure and see what you want. We were able to stay as long as we wanted and add detours at things along the way. You also weren’t forced to stop at there gift shops to spend a good chunk of your time you paid for. Best way to see the island.

Our driver for the 6hrs was Chatana Kaewjinda. He was absolutely superb and his English was great. He was friendly and professional. We learnt a lot from him and thoroughly enjoyed our sightseeing and experiences he suggested. He even took us to a place where we bought a Mootkata (absolutely delighted..haha). Salah is a great driver with a large SUV. I asked him if he could be my driver for the next 2 days and he did. He took me wherever I wanted to go and waited for me. Very good find.

Fabulous experience. Great comms from the driver before hand very punctual too. Azi spoke good English and was informative throughout trip. Mini van was in excellent condition condition. Booked 6 hour trip but there was flexibility to increase time as we went.

We booked the 4 hour private taxi tour, the driver RC was so helpful and polite. He advised the best things to see in the time we had.
We visited Old Phuket town and the 5 Chalong Temples, culminating in a lunch at a local restaurant.

We had a set itinerary for the day. Ahmed our driver for the day was a wonderful person. He took us to all the places we had to visit. He offered us cut fruits and oranges and plenty of water was available on board. Will recommend.

You need to know what you want and don't want to see.
Our driver Tan was brilliant in suggesting things we may like and accepting we didnt want to do some other bits.
Car was spotless and very comfortable.
4 hours not enough - book 6 or 8 is my advice

Driver was nice and prompt for pick up however was very vague about where we were going . We assumed he would take the route as outlined on the app but it felt like he was waiting for us to tell him . His English Language was very limited which made communications difficult. We remembered the big Buddha was on the itinerary and asked for him to take us there . After the Big Buddha ( sadly it was closed due to the landslide ) , he took us to a honey place which was not on the itinerary , pleasant enough but strong sell to purchase their goods . We were dropped off at a temple for a look around . .We then asked about visiting Old town which was worth a trip . We were expecting seeing the beaches so we could get an idea where we would like to go the next few days but all he did was drive us to Karon beach which was where we were staying . All in all, the trip was fine , just want what we were expecting .

For city tours, our drivers are expected to follow the itinerary shown on the booking unless guests request changes, and they should clearly explain the route and planned stops. We regret that this was not handled properly in your case.
Regarding the visit to the honey shop, we understand your disappointment as this was not part of the expected itinerary and felt like a strong sales stop. This is valuable feedback, and we will review this internally to ensure tour routes are aligned with what guests book and expect.
We also apologize that beach viewpoints and areas were limited, especially as you were hoping to explore different beaches to plan your next days. While the Big Buddha closure was unfortunately beyond our control due to safety reasons, the overall flow of the tour should have been better managed to maximize your sightseeing experience.

Our driver spoke English very well. He was funny and informative. He was better than some of the tour guides we had although he is not an official tour guide. We did not have a set itinerary but the driver asked us what we wanted to see. He recommended an itinerary that was perfort for our needs. The custom van was large enough for 9 passengers and was decked out with lights and sound system. It was only 2 of us on the trip so we had a very comfortable ride.

This was an excellent tour. The tour drive spoke good English and she was a very good driver. We left to choose where should go. We had multiple opportunities to take photographs. The tour was a private tour so no hanging around waiting on other people. We were picked up at our hotel of time and dropped off at our hotel after the trip. This tour is highly recommended.

The driver was very nice and the van top-notch, but this is only practical for large groups because they are only offering you a ride. You come up with your own itinerary and they drop you off.
Unfortunately, everything I wanted to see was closed or too far away for 4hrs because you will spend 2hrs in traffic.
Disappointed, after an hour, I just had him drop us off in Old Town, where a Tuk Tuk driver offered to take us on a highlight tour for 1/4 of the price.
I was further disappointed when the 1st stop he took us to was the "Closed" Big Buddha with a parking lot full of tour vans.
Again, this is a good service for large groups, but for anyone else, you are better off taking a taxi.

Unfortunately, closures can sometimes change suddenly due to weather, safety, or local authority decisions, and tour vehicles may still be present despite access being restricted. Traffic conditions are also unpredictable and can significantly impact travel time, particularly during peak hours, which we regret affected your plans.
Your point about suitability for large groups is valid, and your feedback helps us better communicate what this service is (and is not) to future guests, so expectations are clearer from the start.
