Your knowledgeable guide shares insights into the lives of the Tainos, Africans, and Europeans through a collection of artifacts.
As you reach the coastline, enjoy ocean views before your horse is prepared for a swim in the warm Caribbean Sea. Feel the power of the horse beneath you as you ride into the waves.

The staff was friendly and fun. As a solo traveler who is a complete novice at anything to do with horses, the light hearted temperament of the tour guides was a bonus. I felt safe and well attended to all while being able to enjoy this experience; shoutouts to Lamar! The horse ride was quite good, I definitely enjoyed it very much and would recommend.

I’m not even sure where to start, but I’ll begin by saying I would not recommend this company at all. Do not book with them.
Once you arrive in Jamaica, the lack of communication and overall customer service is terrible. The employees are very disrespectful and speak to you as if you owe them something, even though you are the customer. While we were eventually met with an apology from the owner, the experience was still so disappointing that I can’t recommend this business.
Please do your research, there is other local company that offers better service and actually cheaper services. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It was good but didn't have the rum tasting or the coffee , the staff was very nice , horses looked a little under weight but plenty off hayledge to eat.

My husband and I decided to do this and it was the best decision ever! Our pick up driver was super nice and the ride was very smooth. We did not have all our towels but thankfully we were able to buy them right there along with rent a locker. The Instructors (Lincoln) was very friendly and helpful with the guide instructions. My horse was Hurricane and Husband’s was Sparks. The tour was soo amazing and as a first timer I really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be back again next year!😃 thx to all the other tour guys aswell that helped us have a wonderful time!

Pick up from the hotel was a bit daunting as reception was heaving. I had no idea what the driver looked like, overheard a guy talking to a group and asked him if i was on his list. Which i was, he had walked pass me twice. Arrived at Chukka, had to pay for locker, had to use credit card as had no money. Majority of us had no idea we had to pay for lockers which was 10 dollars. The actual riding staff were fab! Knowledgeable, patient and humorous. Big big thanks to Errol who appeared to be in charge. He was able to determine very quickly that I was a nervous particpant. I needed a lot of reassurance which he very generously provided and he took his time during the walk to and from the ride and swim.

Devin made our trail ride and swim awesome! The horses were calm and sweet and made us feel comfortable from the start. Alicia and Firefox were our trail horses and were smooth and comfortable. Lola and Firefox were our swimming horses and they each swam like a breeze! Incredible experience!

I would give it a “1-Star” but our guide Dwayne was AMAZING!
Chukka was HORRIBLE! We were originally scheduled for a 11:30a tour. They messaged me that they couldn’t pick us up until 12:15p. The bus did not arrive until 12:45p. I was left at the location. I ended up having to call my hotel and them call a taxi to come pick us up from Chukka to take us back to the hotel because the staff was nasty and unwilling to assist us in getting back to the hotel until the bus came at 5p…which was EXPENSIVE! I was VERY angry.

The knowledge of the horses by the guides and their attentiveness to our safety and comfort. They made us laugh along the trails. I loved the dips in the water - made the experience more adventurous. The photo shoot was awesome capturing our expressions throughout the experience.

All the workers & tour guide was very nice and respectful I was scared but after talking with them I was ok and I was able to accomplish my ride with the horses. Tizan was my favor he was funny 😄 and very patience with me, I want to go back

Let’s start with ask first how long it will take to get there. From our hotel to the destination it took 2 1/2 hours to get there because they stop at several hotels. The location was not THAT far away. The stops made it unbearable. And it took just as long to get back. So total 5 hours stuck on a bus for a 40 minute ride on the horses. So please be aware and ask a head of time. We got there and my husband was a FEW pounds over the weight limit. Read fine print- there is a scale. Still waiting on a refund. Easier to pay for excursion and get a refund. It downpours like I have never seen in my life. They can not control the weather however they have control of the gift shop manners. We were saturated any and all clothes and towels we had. We purchased clothing and towels in their store but they couldn’t seem to get us out fast enough because they wanted to close because of storm and out pickup bus was not even there. If you have riden horses there is nothing exceptional here. Only ride in water for two minutes in a circle. Save your money.

We were a little disappointed with this trip. Upon arrival, we had to complete the same waiver forms that had been emailed and completed the week prior. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes while a large group went out for their ride - even though we were on the same bus as half of that group. The trail ride itself is 20 minutes through the pasture and back along the ocean. Then there is a very short break to change for the ocean swim. Our group got to go in the ocean twice which was really cool since the ocean experience is only about 10 minutes. As soon as the ocean ride was finished we were quickly hustled back on the bus so we didn't even have time to change again or tip our guide. It just felt a bit disorganized compared to other experiences we've had on trips.

Our guide for this excursion was Noel. He picked our horses and made sure we were comfortable and safe on the horse. Noel was very knowledgeable of the horses and the horses were well trained and treated well. Noel was above and beyond in his care for us, great guy, great personality. The trail was nice and safe and riding in the water was short but refreshing after coming off the trail. The Chukka shuttle bus picked us up at the hotel on time, 11:50 am, for a 2:00 reservation. The ride was about 2 hours to the park. The park has lockers for your belongings ($8). The lockers were big enough for the 3 of us. We wore a bathing suit under our street shorts and shirt for the trail ride. While the guides changed horses for the swim ride we were able to take off our street shorts and shirt and put them in the locker. You can take your phone for photos and videos. Swim ride is very short and you can go barefoot or wear water shoes. Closed toe shoes are required for the trail ride. They encourage tipping so you will want to plan for that. There were problems with the Wi-Fi or internet so they could not take credit cards, just cash for photos and lockers. Photos they took downloaded so slow we almost missed our shuttle back to the hotel.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it wasn’t long enough. The ride was super fun, U MUST TRY!!! Be sure to bring insect repellent and cash for tips, ENJOY!!!

This was a very enjoyable and a once in a lifetime experience. The guides were knowledgeable and made it easy for those who hadn't rode a horse before. This excursion created some priceless memories.
