We loved this excursion! It was just as described and we appreciated the fact that it included transportation. Our driver was super nice, as well as the gentlemen on the beach who instructed us on how to use the jet skis. Would def do it again and highly recommend it!

Hotel Guests: Guests staying at hotels will be picked up outside the main lobby entrance approximately 15 minutes prior to their scheduled adventure time. Our team will arrive in a clearly branded My Own Water Sports van. Cruise Ship Passengers: Guests arriving via cruise ship are asked to meet our team opposite the port exit, directly in front of the Blanco by Nature store in the Prince George Plaza, beneath the Fat Tuesdays sign approximately 15 minutes prior to their scheduled adventure time. Our team will arrive in a clearly branded My Own Water Sports van. Please note, guests are required to present a government issued identification.

Cabbage Beach, Paradise Island: The beach entrance is located next to the Riu Hotel. Upon arrival, please continue to the shoreline and check in at the My Own Water Sports tent or umbrella. Please note, some activities may take place at Montague Beach.

What To Expect

Be ready for pickup at the cruise port or your hotel before your scheduled jet ski rental. Rentals are available every half hour between 10am and 4:30pm.

After transport to the water sports depot on Cabbage Beach, Paradise Island. Get detailed instructions and a safety briefing from your watersports guide, then hop on to a WaveRunner. Spend your time as you please, exploring the waters at your leisure with a partner or with one of the guides.

Jet skies were great and we had an amazing time on water! We were picked up from our hotel, shuttled to Cabbage Beach and directed to Ricardo by the Island locals. The staff gave a quick intro on riding, provided a life vest, directed and helped and were friendly! Paid for an hour and the clock started as you hit the water. They let you ride and enjoy your time. A nice jet ski ride on the beautiful blue waters with the vibe and atmosphere of the beach is amazing! Book it!

What an amazing experience! Everyone should jet ski at least once in their life, and I had such a fun time with this group. Temiko was a super friendly and skilled driver and the jet skiing itself was very easy, fun, and stress free! Staff was super nice, I went over time by accident and they didn’t give me a hard time about it. Overall 10/10 would do again. Thank you so much!

There was a lot of waiting around, for my party and other parties, for the van to pick us up in the beginning, and then pick us up again at the end. I mean more than an hour! I had to message Viator multiple times to get My Own Water Sports to pick us up in the morning, and then again later to take us back to the cruise port. The stress of that overshadowed the fun of jet skiing. The jet ski guys were very kind. It’s just that nothing was organized about the whole experience. I chatted with Viator before I booked, and they assured me that they had plenty of spots (50) open for my date and time, but only 3 jet skis could be used at one time. They said that the van comes to the drop off and pick up point every 20 minutes. We waited over 90 minutes for a pick up at the end. It was awful. They need to run the operation better.

Poor management and horrible shuttling service. It took 5 hours to get back to where we were picked up.

The shuttle service to and from the beach location was horrible to put it politely. The pick up spot is a street corner. The driver was extremely late. We had 10 people the brought one mini van. It was a hour later until all of us got to the beach. There were only about 4 jet skis so by the time I was don’t it was an hour and a half later. The pick up to go back was even worse. The driver didn’t come back to where he told us to be so we started walking to down the street after waiting 45 minutes. He then shows up with the little mini can to get all ten of us. Some of us had to take a taxi back because we couldn’t wait any longer. Horrible experience.

Worst experience ever

This company contact me under 24 hours of my tour letting me know they need to moved my reservation to a later time because they had problems with the bookings and I told them ok because we are on vacation. Well the day came and they came late and the driver vehicle was super dirty and smelled like pure gasoline. As soon he left us in the Cabbage beach he told us the employees will call him when pick us up. As soon we done we asked them to call the driver and the guys said he is waiting for us. The driver wasn’t there and we called him and the company and they acted like my time passed long time ago when they were the ones calling me moving my reservation more later. I explained to them and I also told them I have proof of everything I was saying. The driver showed up an hour and 30 mins after we finished. I told the Viator people I want my money back and they denied. If you really want to have a good experience but your tours with the Hotels because Viator doesn’t care about their customers.

Actually 30 mins drive versus 1 hour duration advertisement

The jet ski activity was advertised as a 1-hour guided ride, but in reality the actual ride time was only about 30 minutes, with an additional 2–3 minutes spent on a short test ride before starting. This is a clear discrepancy between what was marketed and what was delivered. Furthermore, although the activities appeared under different company or agent names on Viator when we booked, they were all actually operated by the same company: “On My Own Water Sport.” This was not transparently disclosed, and it felt misleading since we believed we were booking with different vendors. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful. They picked up my husband and me at Señor Frog’s next to the British Colonial Hotel Resort and drove us to Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island for both parasailing and jet skiing. The transportation was smooth and appreciated. However, at the end of the 30-minute jet ski ride, the young male staff asked us directly for tips. We only had large bills, so we had to exchange $100 to break it into smaller bills just to tip. My recommendation for future travelers is to bring smaller bills for tipping, because staff are very straightforward about asking for tips at the end of the activity — even when the duration advertised was not accurate. It was also confusing because the Viator listing advertised 1 hour, but the ticket provided after booking showed only 30 minutes. This inconsistency is on the operator’s end and should be corrected for transparency. In addition, travelers should ensure the jet ski runs smoothly and at full speed before going far out. The jet ski we were given slowed down significantly after about 15 minutes and if is very LOUD , and I had to return to shore so the staff could fix it, which cut into our already short ride time. My advice to future guests: • Always confirm the true activity duration before booking or starting. • Always confirm pickup time and location, and clarify whether you are a cruise or non-cruise passenger, as the pickup spots differ. • Bring small bills for tipping. • Make sure the jet ski is working properly and fast before riding out. Overall, while the staff were friendly and transportation was well organized, the duration advertised, vendor transparency, and equipment quality did not match what was promised.

Very accommodating. Great place to jet ski with the waves, lots of space and not too many people on the water. We went Christmas vacation and it was fine. Great to stay and lay out or swim after. Would recommend and plan to do again.

They cut out time short on the jet skis. We paid for an hour and they first pulled us in at 20 min. Then I had to find the receipt to prove I paid for an hour. Then they let us go back out and brought in at 45 min. The workers were very nice and accommodating. The van ride back home took a long time to arrive to pick us up.

Ski Rentals In Nassau

When we arrived in Nassau, customer service had accidentally placed our reservation at a different port. Thankfully, our driver, Scorpio, went above and beyond to make things right. He made sure to find us and pick us up at the correct port without any issues. Scorpio took us to the jet ski location, where the team truly made our day unforgettable. The gentleman at the jet ski rentals was amazing — he went out of his way to make the experience extra special for my youngest son. He even allowed my son to drive the jet ski under his supervision, patiently showing him what to do and what not to do. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism they showed us. I would highly recommend the jet ski rentals in Nassau to anyone looking for an incredible experience. 5 out of 5 for customer service!

Communication was nonexistent, pick up spot was supposed to be cabbage beach but they said they never actually pick up there cuz the current is rough, there was a different pick up spot and this was not communicated in any way to me prior to the excursion, I was not able to make it because weather was bad and it wasn’t canceled on their end either, no refund is being provided and it’s extremely disappointing
