Susan was very informative and great fun too.
We had a great day with her.
We would highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful four-hour tour with Susan! She was a fantastic driver and host—kind, funny, and full of interesting stories about the island’s history. She went out of her way to stop for the local foods and fruits we wanted to try, making the experience extra special. We enjoyed amazing views and felt so well taken care of. Thank you, Susan, for such a memorable day! We highly recommend touring with her.
Our private tour of Barbados was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made us feel like we were exploring the island with a friend rather than just taking a tour.
We visited all the must-see spots—from Rihanna's childhood home and current villa to Cherry Tree Hill, Bridgetown, the Wildlife Reserve, and the breathtaking Animal Flower Cave. Along the way, we learned so much about the island's history, culture, and hidden gems. We told him what we wanted to see.
What really set this experience apart was how accommodating our guide was. My significant other mentioned he wanted authentic Bajan oxtail, and our guide made an unplanned stop at a local spot so he could enjoy some. That personal touch made the day even more special and is something we'll never forget.
If you're visiting Barbados and want a tour that's informative, flexible, and truly customized to your interests, I can't recommend this experience enough. Ask for this guide if they're available—you won't be disappointed!
really lovely chap very helpful even called ahead to check the last tour and gave us options and explained them clearly
I've waited a bit to leave this review because I wanted to think on it. Orlando was very nice and the van was very clean. We started with him asking what we wanted to do: I mentioned Harrison's Cave, Hunte's Garden and, if we had time, Earthworks Pottery. He said if we got back to resort after 1p, it would be an extra $50 per hour. I told him we just wanted to see what we could in the allotted time. We went to Harrison's Cave first, and that's when we kind of got off track. He helped me buy the tickets and then we stood around for a bit until I asked where we were supposed to go and he went back and asked and then hurried us to the elevator and pointed down to the building where the cave tour started. When we got down there, no one was there, so we stood around for several minutes before walking out to look for someone. Eventually we found someone and they looked at our wristbands that said 9:40 and by this time it was 9:50, so that tour had already left. We ended up getting in the 10:30 tour, so we wasted 50 minutes doing nothing. We then went to Hunte's Garden and made a quick tour of that since we knew time was getting short. Back in the van, Orlando asked what I wanted to do. I told him that I could run in and out of Earthworks Pottery in 10 minutes or less, but if it would make us late that I would skip it. He drove us to Earthworks; I was in and out in 8 minutes and my hubby stayed in the van. THEN we ran into a closed road and a detour, but Orlando thought he knew a better way then the detour, so he went his way, then we came across an accident which sent us into another detour. We got back to the resort at 1:30, and he charged us an extra $50. We paid it, but I was very unhappy. The road closing and accident and detours were something that neither Orlando nor we could have anticipated, but to charge us for that seemed out of line.
Our experience was great! We enjoyed every detail and all the information Barbados offered and the history. Our driver was very friendly and polite we really enjoyed the tour.
Great knowledge. Lots of fun and interesting. Covered a lot of ground in 4 hours. Susan was very interesting. Highly recommended.
Our guide was full of useful information that helped us get a feel for the island in a short time. We went in without knowing anything about the island and left it to her to guide and I felt we got a great feel for it.
A private tour is the best idea, choose your locations and let them make it happen. They work along with you to plan an awesome experience.
Our driver was so knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Great trip
Chris was very welcoming and knowledgeable
Any questions asked she was able to respond
She was great!
It made the trip even more enjoyable
Had a leisurely drive around Barbados with the knowledgeable tour guide Chris. Very informative and we learnt a lot about Barbados. I would suggest taking the AM slot if you want to visit specific locations eg Harrison’s caves etc, as it would be difficult to cover this during the 1pm tour.
Was very easy to work with the guide on an itinerary and he helped maximize the experience, making suggestions and working with vendors to allow us flexibility and also great experiences. The guide was also very knowledgeable and answered our questions about the island. Lastly was great for kids as well!
We had a good tour with driver/guide Ryan. He took a few minutes to warm up and initially seemed a bit unenthusiastic about some of our suggestions for the itinerary.
But he soon got into his stride and turned out to be a knowledgeable guide to all the sights that we visited and was realistic about what we had time for and what we didn't.
We passed through 8 of the 11 Barbados parishes but spent most time exploring the north and west of the island. We visited Welshman gully, Rihanna's childhood home, Animal flower cave, the windmill and a number of viewpoints.
Good value for money and a very good way of getting to see plenty of Barbados in a short bit of time.
Lovely trip. The guide was awesome. We had a bit of a problem with the pick up in the morning but other than that it was great. She listened to what we wanted to see and showed us even more on the way there. Thank you
Our driver Orlando was great. Listened carefully to what we hoped to see and delivered!
Seeing the North Point was amazing especially given the windy conditions.
Do some research on where you want to go, but also trust your guide's suggestions. We did a little of both and had a great tour. Susan was friendly, knowledgeable, and a safe driver. She showed us parts of the island we hadn't heard about that ended up being he highlight of our tour.
Wonderful 4-hour island tour of Barbados with many beautiful viewpoints along the way. Our guide, Susan, was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She was an excellent driver, answered all our questions, and made the tour fun with great conversation. She also took special care with our senior parents who needed extra time for mobility, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!
We wanted to go to Harrison cave for the tram tour but didn’t know what time to get our tickets for so we didn’t have tickets in advance. The day of the tour we couldn’t get tickets early enough but our guide was able to make a call and we managed to get in right when we arrived. We wanted to do St. Nicholas Abby also but there wasn’t enough time. Our guide suggested a drive on east shore and it was very nice.
Lisa was prompt and helpful in making an itenary spontaneous for a group of 6 able to do hunts gardens while booking for the Harrison cave tour then wildlife refuge visit and gave information along the way
Susan was amazing and very Knowledgeable Helped create the perfect itinerary. Enjoyed all the stops!
A good guide is essential and Chris was certainly that. She was very knowledgeable about Barbados. She asked what we wanted to do/see and took us to those places and more.
Orlando was wonderful! He helped plan our tour with added stops. We were able to extend the excursion by three hours so we could add beach time!
A personal guide who tailors the tour to meet your requirements and interests.
A friendly knowledgeable and engaging guide ( Orlando) who made our day most enjoyable.
Would highly recommend 👍👍
Chris, our driver and tour guide, did an amazing job. She was prompt, personable and knowledgable. Her taxi looks and feels brand new so it is very comfortable. She took us to great spots on the beautiful island of Barbados. We were picked up at cruise port and taken to airport. Great tour for later flight. FYI; $10 extra fee for each piece of luggage
We had a wonderful time today as we explored with Chris in our Barbados adventure! She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire Island and made our tour such a blast! She was very personable. HIGHLY recommend!
Excellent experience. Orlando was our driver and he was great. We learned about the island as we were driven in comfort. I didn’t have a plan of what to do on our tour, but he was able to guide us to two spots our family enjoyed. If you want to see Harrison’s cave I recommend booking ahead. It was fully booked but we pivoted and still had a great morning.
Couldn't get off the cruise ship when scheduled and called; they were waiting at the terminal. Couldn't have been nicer. This was significantly less than the tour offered by the cruise line, was private and they dropped us at the airport.
Saw many of the parishes and highlights of the island. Went to a wonderful island bar called Caboose for a fish cutter at their recommendation and excellent!
Cris from Beautiful Barbados was a great guide and we strongly recommend her!
Cris was magnificent. Helped us tailor the tour to what we wanted to see. Very kind and efficient. We’ll be back soon!
The combination of a great driver Dunstan and the sites were special. Recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Barbados.
Our driver Steve was friendly and eager to make our excursion fun for the whole family. Steve arrived with a spotlessly clean van and the requested car seats for our kids. He too is to the Monkey Reserve and made sure we knew when and where to go at the reserve to maximize our enjoyment. He then drove us to a beach so we could all enjoy a good lunch and some beach time. Overall a very fun day and Steve was a big part of that.
