    Good tour and good guide

    Yifan_p, Mar 2026
It’s good! Mila is very nice. She found my lost bag and give it back to me. Riding horse is amazing.

Take the horse up, it's worth the 30 bucks

The lake and guide was great but driver not so much. The bus was very cold. I had a thermal shirt, plus a winter coat and insulated boots and still cold. I asked for them to turn up the heat but the guide explained the driver doesn't like it too hot. Well la-de-da I thought I was the paying customer! Then his driving was dangerous. Fast corners, on the line with semi trucks coming. He would do tight passes and once lammed on the brakes and I looked and there was police car sitting but didn't pull him over. On the curvy gravel road he was always catching up to more tour buses so obviously driving faster then them. Seat belts and armrest were broken and we didn't feel safe. I would have rather slowed down on the way back and rested. Not sure what the rush was but getting back at 5:30 safely versus 5:00 would have been better. The lake is great and guide as well. We took the horses and glad we did. Buy Oxy boost canisters at the pharmacy to get a hit of oxygen when out of breath because of the elevation.

    Complete rip off by Viator

    Gne_B, Jun 2024
I bought this tour via Viator before arriving Cusco just to be on the safe side and paid $78 for the tour thinking that this is the standard rate/tour provides higher quality lunch, etc. On the day of the tour, I learned that everyone else on the tour paid max of $24... The quality tour was not good either... The guide spoke Spanish mostly, did not provide guidance about the structure of the tour, etc. When I reached out to Viator about this issue and the unfair price, they did not help me at all... This felt like a complete rip off. I was truly frustrated. Overall, do not buy this tour on Viator...

    Good day tour

Good tour and guide Ernesto. Allowed to walk at own pace and given plenty of time at the lake. Included breakfast and lunch which was okay. Bus wasn't very comfortable for tall people.

    hard hike but worth it!
