Elba was phenomenal! Appreciated her warmth and inclusiveness for all travelers. She was really knowledgeable and had great recommendations.

Great tour, very informative and well worth it. Driver was excellent and our tour guide was extremely nice and knowledgeable.

We have been on MANY VIATOR tours. This was horrible with a fast talking tour director (Sol) who spoke Spanish quickly and reverted to English and back & forth with NO possibility of understanding her. She was rude & uninterested in her clients. We truly SHOULD be reimbursed because we received no knowledge of our sights! AWFUL! Al & Mj Walburg
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Dear Alvin Walburg,
We are sorry to read that the tour didn’t meet your expectations.
The sightseeing tour you booked is in regular, the guides begin their explanation in Spanish and then continue in English. We regret the misunderstanding at the time of booking, as you claimed that the tour was in two languages and not only in English. The guide who made the excursion is a graduate guide, with experience. However, we take this feedback and forward it to Sol as an opportunity to improve our services.
We apologize if it wasn't clear enough. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it helps us to improve our services.
Kind regards,

The tour guide was very nice, but unfortunately the tour was in three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese, so she had to speak really quickly, which made her very difficult to understand in English. The bus was late getting to our hotel to pick us up, and then didn't drop us off at the hotel afterwards, but we didn't have far to walk back. We had three stops where we could walk around on our own. The last stop was for 45 minutes, near some very tacky souvenir shops. The time would have been better spent at the other 2 stops and taking us back to the hotel afterwards. We only really needed 10 minutes to buy souvenirs. At the other two stops we were just left on our own to look around. It would have been better if the guide had come with us, and explained what the buildings were, we were looking at. At the cemetery we were just pointed to the entrance. Some of the people on the tour didn't even understand where to go so we had been to the cemetery earlier, we had to point them in the right direction. It would have been better of the guide had come to show them the entrance, and explained more about the cemetery.
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Dear Mary Waterhouse,
We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet all your expectations.
The sightseeing tour you booked is in regular, the guides begin their explanation in Spanish and then continue in English. Usually, excluding the private tours, the pick-ups are made from centrally located hotels and the drop-off takes at the city center (drop-off at hotels not included). The tour booked does not include the entrance to Recoleta Cemetery; we just pass by the neighborhood to see, from the bus, the most important highlights. All this information is published and specified on the website. We are glad to know that the tour guide and the driver did a good job and were wonderful with you.
Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services.
Kind regards,

it was average. More time should be given on places. and should also stop at main toursist spots like open flower, bridge
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Thank you for your feedback! The tour you booked was the half day option; we just pass to see, from the bus, the most important highlights in Buenos Aires. We offer other tours which includes other stops; also find different alternatives, in relation to the itinerary for different preferences and types of passengers. We appreciate your comments. With this we can improve our services.
Kind regards,

This was a perfect quick tour of Buenos Aires. We were able to get out and experience many of the main tourist sites which allowed us to figure out where we wanted to spend more time. The tour guide as adorable, and very helpful. We were there on a holiday weekend and she helped us find a good place the change money. Worth it!

Day tour, never took place due to organisers poor management and lack of customer service. We arrived at location early, doors closed, guides inside, then to be told we were late, and asked to meet at new location some 40 minutes walk away. Very poor attitide, not worth the cost.
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Dear traveler,
We're sorry about what happened. It is likely that you couldn't be able to meet your guide. When the guide looked for you you were waiting in front of the office and not at the door. We regret that you had to move to another location to meet the bus.
Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services.

Venetta_L, Apr 2019
We only had a short time in Buenos Aires so this tour was perfect. It took us to all the most important sights with enough time to look around La Bocca. At the end of the tour we were asked if there was anywhere on the route we would like to be dropped off, so asked for near the Cemetery so that we could look around at our leisure.
Ronald_C, Jan 2019
Good coverage of many sites in Buenos Aires. Guide Nicholas and driver Christian , well done . Just check thoroughly where you could be dropped off.
JohnP_D, Jul 2018
This is a great short tour, only three hours, in which you are shown some of the highlights of the city and allowed some time to get off the bus and take photos. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable.
Rae B, Jun 2018
It was a quick overview of some of the most visited areas of the city, but you could only get down to see two of the areas and for only 1/2 hour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable but there was nothing outstanding about the tour. We were supposed to finish the tour in Recoleta near the cemetery but instead we were told that the bus would drop us off near the center. If I had known that I would have seen the cemetery on my own but instead waited to see it that day, which didn't happen.
Response from Host, Sep 2020
Dear Rae!
As you mention, this tour offers a panoramic view of the city by bus. The tour booked does not include the entrance to Recoleta Cemetery; we just pass by the neighborhood to see, from the bus, the most important highlights. We apologize if it wasn't clear enough.
We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. Your words make us very happy. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it helps us to improve our services.
Barbara_C, Apr 2018
Very good tour of the city. Had lots of free time in the Boca area to wander and shop a bit. Guide was very knowledgeable.
Michael W, Apr 2018
The guide was 45 minutes late as she was scheduled by her company for an earlier tour that finished after our tour was to begin. This was supposed to be an English language tour , but instead it was a Spanish-English tour and the guide had to repeat everything she talked about in both languages--and she spoke more in Spanish than in English. Sophia was a new guide and just rattled off facts with no depth. she was a poor communicator. tour was an overall bad experience for our 6 participants, not worthy of Viatour
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Dear Michael,
We are sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations. The excursion you booked is a regular service in which we must go through different hotels to pick up passengers. The pick-up time is not exact because it depends on traffic and travellers (5 to 10 minutes more). Usually, the guides begin their explanation in Spanish and then continue in English. The guide who made the excursion is a graduate guide, with experience guiding in other tourism companies, and who has also received intensive training in our tours. All our guides are certified. However, we take this feedback and forward it to the guide as an opportunity to improve our services. Kind regards, Tangol

Very informative tour guide but traffic congestion was a major obstacle.
Allison L, Mar 2018
My mom and I booked this 3 hour tour very last minute. We were only in Buenos Aires for 2 nights, and we thought this looked like a great way to see the city in a short amount of time. This tour exceeded our expectations. And for that price! You really can't get much better. We were able to see everything we wanted to see. We specifically loved the La Boca neighborhood where they let us get out and explore for about 45 min street tango and colorful buildings. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. Highly recommend this tour!
Jeffery H, Mar 2018
A wonderful city - you will get much more out of it with just a little understanding of the last 150 years. People, buildings, culture all great. La Boca just exists for tourists - fight the temptation to see it. Although it sounds weird, you must see the cemetery at Recoleta and not just for you-know-whose's plot!
Sandra S, Mar 2018
There was actually nothing wrong with the tour which gave us a good overview of the city. I booked this and another tour with Viaror and both times it said hotel pickup in Recoleta and downtown but on this occasion although we were in Recoleta we had to go to their office which rather defeated the main reason we booked this. As we are two older ladies on our first trip to Buenos Aries we found this a bit misleading and there seems no way to check if we would get a pickup until after wed paid.
Response from Host, Sep 2020
Dear Sandra!
Thank you for your review
We are truly sorry to read that issues with the pickup location. The tour booked is a regular service. Depending on the location of the hotel, each passenger is notified of their collection information through the online platform. In your case, although your accommodation was at Recoleta, it's out of the list of the hotels selected. We apologize if it wasn't clear enough.
We are glad to know that you have enjoyed our city
It will be a pleasure to assist you on your next visit!
Ken S, Mar 2018
We were pleased with the venues visited. However, too much time i.e. 20 minutes was spent at the beginning of the trip waiting for two latecomers to join the trip. We were also disappointed that at the end of the trip we were not dropped off at our hotel and were given inappropriate directions on how to walk from the drop off point to our hotel.
Response from Host, Sep 2020
Dear Ken
Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience in your tour.
In this excursion we can see an important extract of our city, it defines a lot of our culture. Remember that this excursion is a regular transfer, so we can be waiting few minutes for another passengers.
We amended the drop off information according to your feedback as the new clients be aware about it. Your words make us very happy, and we really appreciate your time to write this review!
Marie_S, Feb 2018
Great value for the price......this bus tour drives by a number of Buenos Aires highlights and stops at 3Presidential Palace area, soccer stadium and Carmenita St in La Boca. It gives a good overview and helps you decide which areas you would like to explore more. The bus picked us up at our hotel and was very comfortable.... the tour information was provided in Spanish and English.
Patricia_R, Feb 2018
This tour is good; however, it's puzzling why embassies and expensive car showrooms are pointed out. The new BA?
One caveat: The bus will stop near the entrance to Recoleta cemetery, but you will not have enough time to go in and find Eva Peron's grave, unless you already know it's location.
Response from Host, Sep 2020
Dear Patricia, thank you for your comments. The embassies are mentioned for the remarkable architecture of the buildings, a reference to a particular historical period in relation to the economic prosperity of the country, and make understanding the visited area. The tour that you booked does not include a stop at Recoleta Cemetery. Apparently when you booked, you got an upgrade to go down in Recoleta. Thank you for your review, as it helps us to improve our services. Best regards.
Lisa I, Feb 2018
There were about 10 of us- all english speakers except for one couple who were Italian. So the tour guide conducted the tour in both English and Italian. This gets very annoying for 3 1/2 hours. I would have preferred to have heard only ONE language. She dropped us off at a square, not really explaining a lot about it and we were told to go about on our own. We were hoping for more details on the sights.
Response from Host, Jun 2020
Dear Lisa, thanks for your comments.
The tour you booked is regular service, other passengers from other nationalities are sharing the same vehicle. This tour is offered in two languages. Usually, the tour guide begin their explanation in Spanish and then continue in English. Of course, if there are two languages in the group that the guide is able to speak, in this case Italian, she can do it. Our purpose is that all passengers feel comfortable and can understand what they are seeing on the tour within our possibilities.
Thank you for taking your time to write a review. Kind regards, Tangol.
Maria R, Jan 2018
The tour was good but I would suggest - again - to keep the groups segregated by the language requested in the reservation. It is hard for the guide to make the presentation in three languages and very confusing for the tourists. However, our guide was fluent in all three languages and she did an excellent job!
Sylvia_F, Jan 2018
This was a very good tour in clear Spanish and English, full of meaningful information by a excellent and lovely professional guide. The bus was of good medium size. The only minor problem we had was the pre-tour communication about our hotel pick-up, since we got repeated reminders that the meeting point would be at a tourist office down-town Buenos Aires. Be aware that hotel drop-off is not included, they offer three drop-off places, which worked well for us. We highly recommend this tour.
Robin S, Dec 2017
wonderful sneak preview of a a lovely city. We really enjoyed the tour
lidiabaca, Nov 2017
It was as promised. I didn’t want a long tour, since I had a flight to catch later. But it was nevertheless informative and covered the important highlights. La Boca is a particularly scenic area and that’s where we were allotted the most time to linger. The bus arrived 30 min late, so be aware.
hjohnst1, Nov 2017
The tour was very interesting and gave us a great insight into the history and culture of BA! Highly recommended! Great tour guide!
Joshua W, Oct 2017
Who knew Graffiti had so much meaning! Loved the tour and the history that came along with it. Didnt love the art gallery plug or focus on local art scene along the way, but hey I guess every body gotta make a living haha. Would definetly recommend, I got amazing pics that I would otherwise not have been brave enough to venture into this neighbourhood it is safe, just wouldnt have gone by myself.
Anneri V, Sep 2017
Very informative and interesting! La Boca is great!
Chris, Jul 2017
Great tour and highly recommend it. La Boca was the highlight but don't go there at night.
