Top The Pampas Sailing Tours

Hi, I'm Viki, and Vetreno Sailing is my small sailing project in Buenos Aires. We take families and groups of friends, up to 9 guests, out on a spacious private sailing catamaran on the Río de la Plata. A catamaran sails steady and flat, so it's comfortable for everyone: kids of any age, grandparents, pregnant guests. There are two large decks and nets at the bow where you can lie right above the water. While we sail, we grill choripanes on board, the classic Argentine street snack, and pour Argentine wine. It's only your group on board, at your pace. Staying in Buenos Aires? Choose an option with round-trip hotel pickup and we'll take care of the ride. We speak English, Spanish, Russian and French.

Sailing in Buenos Aires is something people usually miss, as there's almost no options available. During the Sunset Cruise, you'll get to sail through the world's widest river and see Buenos Aires and its coastline from the water, an activity that is off the beaten path and new to many. You'll also have a relaxing time, away from the fast-paced -and sometimes overwhelming city, surrounded by nature, while tasting world-class sparkling wine with delicious local tapas as you watch the sun setting over the city.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to sail the widest river in the world to Tigre, appreciate the life of the Delta and have free time to walk and enjoy this beautiful town and return to the city of Buenos Aires sailing as well.

Try around four different Argentine wines with descriptions and explanations from your professional sommelier as you sail along Buenos Aires’ Rio de la Plata. Besides the local wines, snack on tapas from regional artisans as you take in the views and watch the sun go down.

Depart from Pier or Hotel, travelling to the northern part of the city en route to San Isidro. Visit the Cathedral before arriving at the town of Tigre. Board a motor launch for a guided cruise through the green labyrinth of channels and streams. Take a trip back in time as you cruise through the town of Tigre. For over 100 years, the town and its many river channels have served as a quiet escape for locals and tourists alike. Your adventure through Tigre will include a guided cruise through a labyrinth of waterways for picturesque views of the town’s beautiful English gardens, riverside villas, and historic sites, affording you a glimpse of life in rural Argentina.
