Top Sumatra Services in 2026

This 2-day trek offers one of the most rewarding ways to experience Gunung Leuser National Park, home to one of the last places on Earth where wild Sumatran orangutans roam freely. Groups are kept small with a maximum of 6 travelers, ensuring a personal experience with minimal wildlife disturbance. Your journey is led by certified local guides, native to the community, with 5+ years of jungle experience and deep knowledge of the ecosystem, medicinal plants, and local traditions. All National Park permits, camping equipment, fresh meals, drinking water, tropical fruits, and a river tubing ride back to the village are fully included. The highlight is spending a night at a riverside campsite deep in the jungle, waking up to the sounds of the rainforest. Unlike rushed day trips, this 2-day format increases your chances of meaningful wildlife sightings, including orangutans, monkeys, and tropical birds. Perfect for nature lovers seeking an authentic, unforgettable jungle experience.
