A must join day tour from Bucharest to see the beautiful Transfagarasan mountain. We even saw three wide bears on the road. The operator continued with the tour with only three guests and the driver picked us up at the hotel on time.

Fun day! Loved climbing...

Fun day! Loved climbing to the top to see Poenari Castle up close. The 1480 steps were worth climbing! The view was stunning. George, our guide, and Vlad, our driver, were great. George was very knowledgeable, and I am convinced Vlad was a NASCAR driver in a previous life. Along the way, we saw one bear and got to pet two donkeys. Of course, the lake, dam, and T Highway were also very nice. It was a very long day, but worth it.
