Train at the first Capoeira school in Brazil Learn the basic movements, attacks, and defenses Discover the history and cultural importance of Capoeira Beginner-friendly — no experience required Experience Afro-Brazilian culture in the heart of Salvador

My samba classes are super fun, high energy and a great cardio workout while learning about brazilian culture. You can meet new people, take a class alone or with a group, and get ready to dance at the SAMBA parties in town!

Try capoeira, a traditional Brazilian martial art, during a 3-hour private class in Salvador. With a local guide, learn about the history of capoeira as a form of resistance among Africans during their 500 years of slavery in Brazil. Participate in a private workshop to learn some basic moves, then join a regular class with other regular capoeira school students. Walk away from this special cultural experience with a better understanding of how important this practice is to the Afro-Brazilian history of Bahia. Round-trip transportation from Salvador hotels is included.

I speak English and Portuguese and am dedicated to you having a once in a life time experience while you are here.

Here in Bahia is the origin of Capoeira, you get to learn from professional Capoeira Teacher, in the training center of CAPOEIRA ENGENHO. And at the Berimbau factory, you can build your own berimbau. If necessary, we have a translator on location if you don't speak Portuguese.
