There you will find beautiful views of mountains, plains, waterfalls, rivers, rich fauna and flora. Advanced walking: around 7 hours a day. The difference with this trek is that you will sleep in a native's house. Having contact with their culture and natural lifestyle. In a completely isolated and preserved region (no electricity, no internet). Without a doubt, it is one of the best travel experiences in Chapada Diamantina.

Vale do Pati is widely considered one of Brazil's premier trekking routes—a deep canyon system within Chapada Diamantina National Park, reachable only on foot, with no vehicle access between the trailheads. This 5-day guided trek covers the full traverse from Vila do Guiné to Andaraí, with overnight stays in local residents' homes, all meals included, and visits to the canyon's best viewpoints, waterfalls, and the Rio Cachoeirão.

Exploring with Naia is discovering Chapada safely, awakening senses and enhancing the look to local cultural history, fauna, flora and geology.

Explore one of the most stunning treks in the world, located in the heart of Bahia. The Vale do Pati sits at approximately 1,000 meters above sea level and offers a fascinating diversity of landscapes, transitioning between remnants of Atlantic Forest, Campos Rupestres (high-altitude savanna), and Campos Gerais. This region, which housed farmers about two centuries ago, now features 14 preserved houses that serve as accommodations for visitors and nature enthusiasts. Our itinerary covers the region's most iconic spots, such as Morro do Castelo, Cachoeirão, and Mirante da Rampa, completing a loop within the valley as we use the same access route to enter and exit the Pati. This itinerary requires good physical fitness and the ability to hike for several days under adverse weather conditions (sun, rain, slippery, and rugged terrain, etc.).
