Great experience
Best to bring your own food and water. The refreshments sold at the venues seemed very expensive to purchase.

One of the Best Tours I’ve Ever Experienced — Thank You Sharif! 🙏✨
Today I joined the Masada, Ein Gedi, and Dead Sea tour with Mr Sharif Abdoand honestly it was one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Sharif was not just a guide — he explained everything with deep knowledge of the history and culture, exactly like a great teacher. He helped us truly understand why Masada is so important, the meaning behind these places, and the stories connected to them. From the historical significance of Masada to every detail about the region and the Dead Sea, everything was explained with passion, patience, and professionalism. It didn’t feel like just a tour; it felt like a meaningful educational and human experience. I truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this tour group, especially Sharif, to anyone looking for a professional and unforgettable experience. Also thank to tourist Israel Thanks Saba khoi Journalist and founder of Cyrus accords foundation I would absolutely join another tour with this team again. 🙏✨

Expect the Unexpected
We learned as we we're being picked up that we would not be seeing Masada due to a road closure. It would have been nice to have known that beforehand so we could have reviewed options - we might have just rescheduled and decided against the early morning public bus ride, on Shabot, to the tour pickup location. Our guide (Yanna?) made the best of a situation that was probably out of her control. We did see amazing sites, such as Christ's baptism location by John the Baptist on the Jordan river. All in all I commend our guide for doing the best she could, and being highly knowledgeable about the sites we visited. BTW, an 8 hour tour can seem REALLY long. 😃 We'll probably be limiting ourselves to 4 & 6 hour tours in the future.

  • There is an entrance fee to enter the reserve, and tickets include a map of the park’s hiking trails and attractions.

  • Wear comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen and plenty of water, especially if you plan on hiking; temperatures can reach 100°F (38°C) in the summer months.

  • The uneven and often gravelly tracks mean that Ein Gedi is mostly inaccessible to wheelchair users.

  • Visitor facilities include restrooms, a kiosk, and a gift shop at the reserve entrance.
