With over 5 years of experience as a tour guide, I offer a unique opportunity to explore Jaffna. My passion lies in the way travel connects people, and having been a lifelong resident of Jaffna, I bring a perspective on its traditions that few others can. Exploring Jaffna with me ensures a deep dive into its culture, history, and lifestyle. Travelers can join me on my motorcycle, or if they hold a license, I can provide them with a motorcycle while accompanying them on another. This flexibility allows for a personalized experience where they can stop and immerse themselves in locations that interest them, enjoying a 360-degree view of the surroundings. Our motorcycles are in excellent condition and are ideal for exploring Jaffna. There are no additional charges for fuel, and I ensure a safe journey, guiding and supporting travellers throughout the tour. As a memento of the experience, each traveller receives a unique wooden key tag.

Along with the main attractions of Delft Island—such as the Dutch Fort, Pigeon Nest, Dutch Hospital, beaches, Baobab tree, Queen’s Tower, and wild horses—we offer something more meaningful. As this is a glamping stay, guests have more time to slow down and truly feel the island vibe. You can walk around the village, observe daily island life, and experience how the local community lives peacefully and simply. Delft Village Stay is an experience-based eco community stay, where guests are encouraged to interact with the local community and enjoy traditional meals prepared with local, natural ingredients in a clean and hygienic way. This experience is best suited for adventure and experience seekers who enjoy nature, culture, and authenticity. Guests who expect luxury transport or 5-star hotel-style comfort should note that this island—and tour with Glamorous campsites —are not designed for that type of travel.
