This experience offers a rare, intimate look into the true artistry of Ceylon tea, far removed from crowded factory tours. Instead of watching machines, you learn directly from a master tea taster with over 40 years of expertise, gaining insights usually reserved for industry professionals. The uniqueness lies in its hands-on approach. You don’t just taste tea; you learn how to evaluate it using professional cupping techniques. From assessing colour and clarity to identifying aroma, body, and finish, every step is guided and interactive. Tasting multiple single-estate teas side by side reveals how region, climate, and processing shape flavour. Set in a small-group environment, the session feels personal, allowing open discussion and tailored guidance. It blends history, sensory exploration, and practical skills you can take home. By the end, you’ll understand tea on a deeper level and confidently taste and select it like an expert.
