This tour is ideal for those who have their own transport & just need the service of a professional & licensed guide to visit the historic sites of Badami, Aihole & Pattadakal, all built by Chalukya dynasty. At Badami, you find extraordinary rock-cut architecture on sandstone from 6th CE & has a Petra-like feel to it. Aihole is called the Cradle of Hindu Temple Architecture because it traces its evolution. At Pattadkal, which is UNESCO listed, we again see amazing contribution to temple architecture evolution.
