Day Trips from Arequipa to Cusco

Book this tour for an authentic small group experience, with personalized attention and professional guides that will make you uniquely connect with the destination. Enjoy every moment in comfort, security and the warmth of an expert team that takes care of every detail of your trip.

This tour stands out because it combines two very different natural attractions in a single full-day experience instead of focusing on just one destination. Unlike more common excursions around Arequipa, you get both the powerful scenery of the Pillones Falls and the surreal rock formations of the Stone Forest from Imata in one itinerary. Another key difference is the high-altitude route itself, which is part of the experience. The stop at Patahuasi helps with acclimatization and adds a cultural touch with traditional hot drinks like coca or muña tea, making the journey more comfortable and authentic. Overall, it’s a well-balanced tour that mixes adventure, geology, and nature diversity—going from waterfalls and rivers to volcanic plains and wind-sculpted stone landscapes, all in a single day with organized stops and guided interpretation.
