Holy Island/Alnwick Castle
Tour Guide was very informative, with a lively sense of humor. He provided a lot of interesting Scottish history. Holy Island was amazing. We purchased a ticket that covered Alnwick Castle and gardens, it was unclear that a separate ticket was needed for the poison garden, we were disappointed to miss that.

Andrew T. Was great and very knowledgeable! We had plenty of time at all of the stops and there was no rush. Being able to actually go to the beach and see where Harry Potter was filmed were key highlights of the tour. The bus was also very clean a d comfortable.

Oner of the best full day tours I've ever taken!
William was our driver/guide and the best story-teller you could wish for. He's a lovely man, and considerate of the varied needs of passengers. He gave us options. He played great curated music, that fitted with his verbal themes. Love, love, loved it all. 11 out of 10!!!
Personally I could have done with another 30 mins in Holy Island, but Hey - It was the most wonderful day - Honestly.

Lovely trip to tick off an item on our bucket list.
It was a very smooth operation. We had a lovely driver called Ash who was very knowledgeable about the whole trip. We had plenty of time to do Alnwick Castle as we could only have an hour at Holy Island due to the tide. We stopped for a short time at Bamburgh Castle, enough time to walk to the top to see the sea but not enough time for anything else but we’d done enough walking by then so it was a fitting end to a great day.

Loved this tour
This is a phenomenal tour. I had a wonderful tour guide for the day whose name I can’t remember so sorry he was really great. Everything from the castle to the ruins to the drive-through Northumberland all of it. This is just a wonderful tour.

Great tour
Driver was great and the group size was perfect. Our driver was very knowledgeable and helped ensure we got tickets to the broom flying lessons which was the main reason we booked. I would suggest removing the first stop from the itinerary.

Super pretty
Comfy shoes and a rain slicker came in handy. Super pretty, the castle on the sea was amazing, loved the whole experience.

viking coast
we had a beautiful weather day, there is not enough time to go to the priory ruins and the castle, it is a long walk. we did the priory and we were there on a sunday, things were closed. Alnwick castle was gorgeous! By changing return routes our guide Euan was able to give us more time to explore. Well worth it, the interior rooms are stunning and a working castle.

Excellent north English coast tour
Excellent tour with Linda . She has a clear grasp of facts. The stops were all the right length without feeling rushed. The coach was comfortable. Only issue was Holly Island roads closed and option to pay for castle entry fee in advance. Otherwise all was fine.

Lots of historical info
Our guide, Angela was a wealth of information about the area. We chose Lindisfane castle as there wasn't tine to visit the priory or museum. The tour of Alnwick castle was great, so much to see. All in all, this was a great tour.

Scottish Pride in England
This was the tour with great history, wonderful beauty, and a lot of fun. Angela, our guide, was warm, fiercely, proud of her country, well informed and knew how to be a fabulous hostess. Her stories, facts and music made the day fly by. The contrast between Holy Island and Alnwick Castle were perfect juxtapositions. It added great interest to the day which seemed to fly by.
