Absolutely magical experience! we were very very lucky. strawberry Field does not open till 10 AM. We got there at nine and they let us in early because a huge tour was coming in a little bit after 10 o’clock so it was basically my wife and I and one very nice lady sitting in the middle of the park reading a book. not quite as big as I thought it would be but still a wonderful magical place highly recommend this to anybody going to Liverpool or especially doing Beatles tour
Really enjoyed it very informative learned lots!
You have your own ear phones and screen and can stop it and start it when necessary
They have a lovely cafe and store at good prices
Garden was lovely
Staff was great got us a taxi back
Highly recommend very informative and very interesting. About how Strawberry Fields came to be and how it connected to John Lennon.
Not really worth the money tbh. And there was no queue at all so don’t need to skip the queue with this ticket! Also it’s one field…not several fields or a park.
This excursion is a 'virtual' experience in a new building, with head phones/screens & is far more about the Salvation Army history than the Beatles! No tour guide, so very disappointing. Mourners were arriving at the same time as our group (to spread a loved-ones ashes), which was confusing & disconcerting We eventually realised we had to queue up & sign-in at the same small obscure entrance, amongst the mourners. Unable to see the gardens due to time constraints, but appear from the visitors centre to be all newly planted. A complete waste of money in our groups opinion.
The best day out for a long time we came on John lennon's 80th birthday, and his piano was there with lots of photos from the past staff were amazing, can't wait to go back soon.
Lovely day out. Great value for money. The exhibition was very well planned and informative. The cafe was very clean and well organised. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend a trip to Strawberry Field.
I found this a very interesting museum. I didnt know the history of Strawberry Fields. Having some Elvis memorabilia was a personal enjoyment too. The gardens are beautiful and being able to listen to John Lennon as you walk round the gardens was very tranquil. I would and have recommended this as a must visit. My husband and I will certainly visit again.
Very informative lovely building great shop and cafe all the staff really helpful friendly nothing too much trouble
Interesting display of musical pictures facts and video information. A must for Beatles fans specifically John Lennon . Staff were really helpful and friendly. Well worth a couple of hours visit.
Just a few hours in strawberry fields , you need to give the exhibition your full attention to get the full benefit, cafe lovely although a little bit pricey, but staff lovely x
