All Margaret River Region Tours & Excursions in 2026

Margaret River first. Taste our fine, single estate Margaret River wines alongside unique local cheeses designed to enhance the sensory experience.

Cruise Caves Road, the artery that connects Margaret River’s vineyards, on this cool and casual adventure tailored to dudes and dudettes. Get hands-on with a wine blending experience and enjoy your bin with lunch; savor tastings at three award-winning boutique wineries; and discover the flavors of gourmet chocolate. Your package includes hotel pickup and drop-off from your Margaret River accommodation and all food and drink except your beverage in the last brewery.

Drive Margaret River yourself, with a GPS audio guide that plays automatically as you go. Your booking unlocks the whole region in the free Wine Trails app: pick your date and starting point — Margaret River township, Dunsborough, Cowaramup or Augusta — choose the cellar doors you want from 59 on the map, and the app builds your personal route with turn-by-turn narration. 82 stories cover the peninsula's people and places: as you pass Vasse Felix in Wilyabrup you'll hear how a 1965 research paper by agronomist John Gladstones convinced a Perth cardiologist named Tom Cullity that this remote forested strip had Bordeaux's numbers — and how in 1967 he planted the region's first commercial vines there. No group, no schedule, no guide — pause for a long lunch at a cellar door, replay anything, and the audio keeps working when the signal drops in the karri forest stretches of Caves Road. You'll need a car and a designated driver; tastings are booked and paid directly with the wineries.

Escape the ordinary lunch run and immerse yourself in nature on this unique Wadandi Track tour! Cycle 25km of mostly flat, gravel track (thanks to eBikes!) from Cowaramup to a special destination, enjoying shaded trails, abundant wildlife, and stunning views of farmland and vineyards along the way. A perfect blend of leisurely activity and scenic beauty.

Experience a decadent combination of delicious local wine and handcrafted chocolate bon bons with this food and wine discovery pairing at the Passel Estate in Cowaramup near Margaret River. Exclusively made for the Passel Estate by a local master chocolatier, each of the bespoke bon bons has been designed to compliment the wines during this tasting experience and are only available at the Passel Estate tasting room.

This hidden gem tour is a stripped-back real-life view of a working winery hosted by Nigel, our Winemaker. Nigel is the man to take you on a journey of wine like no other. The curtain will lift and you will be exposed to some incredible wines and winemaking insights. The wine range is exceptional and the accolades prove this. Recently our winery was selected in The Wine Advocate’s “Top 100 Discoveries” which features 100 wines in the world not to be missed. This is a huge accomplishment to be recognized on such a global scale.

Discover the southern Margaret River region on a private tour designed around your group. Rather than following a fixed large-group itinerary, we combine boutique wineries, local food and scenic highlights with a relaxed, flexible pace. Travel through Boranup Karri Forest and along historic Caves Road, enjoy tastings at carefully selected cellar doors, and stop for lunch at Glenarty Road. With a maximum of four guests, the experience is personal, unhurried and tailored to your interests.
