Wonderful (Dry) Day experience
Lennard was a great tour guide. Started at Fort Shirley. Unfortunately this foet was completely remodeled for a concert/eedding/party venue, so the history is lost, but the guide tour really helped us picture what was there. Next we went to Cold Soufriere sulfur springs which was very interesting, you could hear the gas escaping the rocks. Our last adventure of the day after a great lunch at water's edge was a row down Indian River. Beautiful scenery and animals along the way.

River trip was great, everything was prepared and guide person was very polite, big knowledgeable regarding the river and history of the island.
Highly recommended.

Great mix of sights of northern Dominica
We had a lovely day exploring the north part of the island. Learned about the history of the island with a nice tour of fort Shirley. Kenny our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and make the experience enjoyable. Highlight included a boat ride down the Indian River with our guide Rosco who made the trip fun!!

Fort Shirley
- Bring sunscreen and bug spray if you plan on doing a lot of hiking around the fort.
- Wear comfortable shoes: the hike up to the fort is a bit steep.
- The fort and its surroundings are not wheelchair friendly, with some uneven terrain and steps.
