Worth a visit
Was a very humbling experience but so worth the visit. Learned a lot about life in Kibera and met some wonderful people. Would highly recommend a visit when in Nairobi

Amazing tour - highly recommend
This was an amazing tour. My guide Kelvin was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He told me the history of Nairobi. We walked together through Nairobi CBD and Kelvin told lots of stories about the area. In Kibera slums I was guided by Kelvin and Kibera slums local guide Allan. Both the guides made me feel really safe in Kibera slums and told me a lot about the slums. Wonderful tour. Amazing guides. Both Kelvin and Allan were just fabulous.

Kevin offers a truly impressive tour of Kibera. You leave with countless eye-opening impressions, but also with lasting memories of incredibly warm and welcoming people and children whose stories stay with you long after the tour has ended.

Raw, real and worthwhile.
A raw, moving and inspiring experience with others' life experience. While here on a luxury Safari, we were grateful to see the real world for many Kenyans. Peter and Elijah were vulnerable and articulate about the challenges and successful of many in Kibera. Thank you!

How the other half live
This Tour was an Eye opener. Vincent my guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of things in Kibera. I felt very safe throughout. There’s fair bit of walking through very narrow alleys Vincent was very helpful to make sure I was fine. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has interest in reality of this world

A must see
An eye-opening experience. Rally was so accommodating and flexible. He shares his first-hand knowledge of the slum, the school, and the people living there.

This tour was fantastic. ...
This tour was fantastic. We went through many areas even Nairobi friends didn't know existed. I felt safe and my friends said all the kids were so sweet to them

Best experience ever!
This is once in a lifetime experience. Rally is an exceptional guide, known in the community, and helped us learn everything about the slum and the way of people living there. Nobody should miss it!

Support Kibera people with the help of Rally
Rally is very kind and respectful in Kibera society. He helped us not only to feel a bit the daily life of the people living there but to understand how some of them try to improve people lives especially through education and prospect to leave Kibera.
Please support through your tour to improve people lives.

Highly recommended
We went on the Kibera tour with Elijah and thoroughly enjoyed it. Two of the tour group participants turned up late, but he was very patient and didn't make a fuss about it. He showed us around the area, answered all our questions and actively encouraged us to ask more. We really appreciated him showing us his family home, where we got to see his childhood photos and see where his parents still live. Having a true insider as our guide gave us knowledge and a perspective we wouldn't get from a regular tour. Highly recommended.

Welcoming Smiles and Powerful Stories in Kibera
I had an incredibly moving and memorable experience visiting Kibera, guided by Elijah and organised by Lucas. From start to finish, it felt authentic, respectful, and genuinely insightful.
What stood out most to me was the contrast between what you might expect and what you actually find. There is a real sense of order within the chaos — from the tidy, well-organised market to the intricate maze of streets, everything has its place and rhythm. It completely reshaped my perception.
The people we met were warm, welcoming, and full of life. The children in particular were some of the most polite, kind, and joyful I’ve ever encountered. I was fortunate enough to spend time at a school run by my guides, and that was easily one of the most profound and humbling moments of the entire trip.
Around every corner, there was another story — not of hardship alone, but of resilience, community, and hope.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to better understand Nairobi beyond the surface, in a way that is both eye-opening and deeply human.

Kibera slum tour
The kibera slum was an eye opener. The tour of nairobi was great too as well as the bead factory. Collins was a great guide.
