Book & enjoy the views
Great experience overall with excellent sites/views and a wonderful way to learn about the culture. We had Jason as our tour guide. He was fantastic. He gave us great insights on the local culture. The road is very curvy - one lane each way - take motion sickness medicine! Enjoy the waterfalls and the black sand beach as well.

Heavenly Tour
We will always remember our day "surviving the road to Hana". We will call it our Heavenly tour because our guide, Heavenly, was fabulous and then some!!! Heavenly told us about the customs of nature Hawaiians, the meaning of many Hawaiian words, local lore, landmarks, native plants, and outlooks on the road to Hana.
Heavenly was kind, empathetic, and compassionate especially to one person in the tour that had motion sickness. We valued our time with Heavenly and could not imagine having a better day or a better tour guide. Thank you so much Heavenly.

Awesome adventure to Hana and beyond!!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Corey as a guide. He has so much knowledge of the region and enthusiasm! The Hana Hwy is extremely challenging with very narrow roads. It was comforting knowing we had such an experienced guide. The views are spectacular and I’m so glad we did the tour.
Recommendations: you will definitely want water shoes to experience a couple stops. Hand sanitizer is also highly recommended. Also, don’t make any plans afterwards…it was a fully packed day!! Thanks for a fantastic experience!!

Amazing!
We had a great experience! We were picked up on time and driven to the summit. Along the way we stopped for a bathroom break and were given fleece-lined ponchos to wear. Although I wore cuddle duds, pants, wool socks, and a winter coat, it was not enough. It is cold and windy up there! However, since we were given the ponchos to wear, the only thing cold on me was my hands taking pictures of the most beautiful sunrise. The included breakfast at the plantation was delicious! It was an EARLY start but so worth it to see the sunrise. Brad and Jeff were great tour guides!

Road to Hāna Stunning Scenery
The day starts at 5:45 am and returns about 3:15 to your pickup spot. You are in a 16 passenger van and you are in and out of many times - depending on where you are sitting this can get tiresome because there is only one side entrance.
Our guide Roger was very solicitous of our welfare, very polite and knowledgable.
The only negative was the itinerary requested a $52 to $70 gratuity which is exorbitant (we should not be paying the drivers wages!!!). We were told at the outset that $35 was expected. So best bring cash!!’

Driving safely though Hana
This tour is a great way to see Hana. We appreciated the expert driving through the winding roads and hidden stops, especially the waterfalls and hour at the black sand beach state park. Our tour guide, Dell, was excellent.
The only heads up I can give is to expect to be picked up first (6:00 am) and dropped off last if you’re staying in Ka’anapali / Lahaina, which makes it a long day.
The tour description also advertises seeing Jaws, a famous surf spot. We learned on the tour you actually can’t see Jaws easily, so we just saw the entrance to the beach on this tour.

Quinn & the Road to Hana is 5-stars all the way!
Quinn was an amazing guide on our Road to Hana trip! He did an excellent job driving (SO glad we didn't attempt to drive) and knew all the best spots for us to explore. He is so knowledgeable and we learned so much and his fun way of sharing the information was really special. We highly recommend Quinn and the Road to Hana trip!

Perfect experience for us.
The halfway to Hana was perfect. We saw many beautiful waterfalls, eucalyptus trees, bamboo trees, and enjoyed some Hawaiian banana bread. We also stopped at a beach and saw over 40 turtles. Watched the surfers in the ocean enjoying the day. It was a wonderful experience.

Excellent Tour with Best Guide!
Michael has tailored this experience down to the last detail. From the moment of pickup, he related information about Hawai’i and Maui. History, geology, botany - he knew it all.
Dinner was delicious and the added treat of hot chocolate after being outside in the cold was most welcome. Stargazing after sunset was gorgeous and having time to do so is an excellent end to the time up the mountain.
Highly recommend!!! We will probably do it again next time!

Road to Hana - Worth the Cost
We had a great guide (Paula). It is a long day but saw awesome sites, multiple coastline, beautiful foliage, black sand beach, ended the day watching surfers and saw a large group of sea turtles resting on the beach. Over packed with swine ware that no one in our group needed. Awesome experience

Great trip to Haleakala
This was a lot of fun. First, it was nice having someone else do the driving, and once daylight hit, I felt this even more. The road are so windy, and it was nice having an experienced driver handling it. Plus Eddie was terrific. He was entertaining, stressed the importance of safety for every aspect of the tour, and made the day very enjoyable. He even had us take a really fun picture near the summit that made us all smile.

Exhilarating Road to Hana
Worth every dollar! Our driver/guide, Sale, was informative and entertaining every step of the way. A beautiful view everywhere you looked! Plenty of photo ops and sightseeing too, with opportunities to swim. We were well fed and the pizza lunch was excellent.
