for Ben Nevis book Craig with Atlas Mountaineering
Exceptional guide to the Ben Nevis!
Thank you Craig and Connor. We had a wonderful time. Book with Atlas Mountaineering, Viator.
We had Craig as our guide. We highly recommend he was so patient and gave such encouragement along the way. We experienced snow, rocky terrain, hot weather, Gale force winds and cooler weather.
Ben Nevis has it all! Craig went out of his way
To help us coordinate taxi transfer and was very kind and knowledgable. We felt safe along the journey as well.

Climbing Ben Nevis on a Cold, Rainy, Windy Day
Hiking Ben Nevis can be challenging. You have to watch the weather. Climbing this mountain in adverse conditions can make this climb very strenuous. The key is wearing the proper clothing for weather conditions (which makes packing a challenge). Finally, having an experienced guide is essential. Our guide, James, was knowledgeable about the mountain and how to successfully make the climb. All and all, it was a great experience. We will do it again.

Perfect day hike!
George was the best guide! Had a great time with beautiful views and good company. Some fog and a tiny bit of rain but that didn’t take away from the overall experience - maybe even added to it.

Best Journey
Sally is the best hiking guide I have ever seen. She's friendly, welcoming and always taking care of everyone. Although my muscles are still sore, I am very happy and recommend this trip.

Ben Nevis
We had a fantastic guide Angus who was informative and patient. Also great on the tour we got to meet. I t took us 10 hours to complete but what an adventure totally worth it and also using a guide especially if you’re not familiar with these mountains.

What a great day!
A great experience from start to finish. Our guide Michaél (Murph) was fabulous and very patient with me as my progress back down slowed as tiredness set in. The sense of achievement is great and the views on the way up and from the top are unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great guided hike
Brilliant guide and a lovely group of likeminded people! 10/10 recommend to book this. Guide answered lots of various questions along the way along with little stop offs to point out things about the mountain and it’s geology and history.

A great day up the Ben
A lovely hike, and a great guide made for a great day up the Ben. Andy was lovely and though I knew no one beforehand, the people in the group were up for a chat and proved to be nice company for the long and steep road ahead.

Great atmosphere, Dave...
Great atmosphere, Dave and Fraser very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They kept everyone focused with the right amount of control and communication. Pity they couldn’t arrange the weather at the top.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
