Along the way, discover Vai a Heva, an extraordinary face carved into the rock; rare moai carved from hard trachyte stone rather than the volcanic tuff used for most statues; and the dramatic Ana o Keke cave, hidden high in the cliffs and connected with ancient Rapa Nui traditions. From the summit of Poike, enjoy sweeping views across almost the entire island, all the way toward Rano Kau on the opposite coast.
