We had a lovely tour with...
We had a lovely tour with Guillermo who is very knowledgeable about the area in all aspects. He was able to get us to the waterfalls area before the tour buses got there - a big plus. The area is beautiful and it was a great opportunity to see a glimpse into the life there. We would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful Country Sites to See, but drive it yourself
Take the tour for sure to see the highlights of the area – stunning, beautiful. If I were to do it again, I would rent a car and drive myself. It would be easy and car rentals are in town. Notes about this tour. The tour was confirmed to pick us up at 8:00 upon reserving and I contacted them to confirm 2 days before and they told me not to worry. They did not show. However, when we finally got through to someone we were told 10:00 was the time, and then they apologized and said it was their fault. I hear this is not the norm there, but it happened. We did not get an official tour of Puerta Montt or Puerta Vargas other than driving through. The tour guide was super nice and got there at 9:30. If you are expecting a tour like you get in Santiago with a lot of details/facts/history, this is not your tour. You are basically paying a very high rate for a kind driver. We loved our driver, but the cost is too high for a private tour.
